1. I'd be able to get a nice rig without having to worry about worrying about the CPU... especially one with its unlocked multiplier goodness.

2. Phenom

1) Finally build a respectable gaming rig. With water cooling. And O/C the crap out of it.
2) Phenom

1. With its help, I would design and build my own flux capacitor and go back in time and buy shares of intel, microsoft and google.

2. Phenom

1.) Oh the joy that would befall one with a 5000+ CPU. If i got one of these bad boys i would donate my currently hard working 4200+ X2 and motherboard to my friend whose computer is severely lacking. Once this 5000+ is in hand, oh the overclocking that would commence. This baby would be clocked as high as i could hit on some high end air cooling :D I already looked into buying a 5000+ for my next system, but maybe i'll give this a shot.

2.)Phenom (oh yeah, can't wait for this one)

1. Buy a new motherboard and ram to go with it! I'm needing a video card upgrade again as well. I might secretly dance around, or possibly scream a little.

2. phenom

1. Would finally upgrade from my FX-51 and also get into the world of PCI-express video cards!

2. Phenom!

#1. I would dance a jig, brag to the nearest person to me, decommission my current box as a new member of my mini folding farm and of course make a new rig to oc the crap out of the sob!!

#2. Phenom duh!

1) Upgrade my X2 4200+ so I can run Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3 at higher fps.

2) Phenom

1. Donate my Opteron 165 OC'd beast to my brother in law. Build a new gaming rig with the X2 5000+ at its heart.

2. Phenom

1. I'd go shoot it and put it on youtube just to spite all those who entered the contest and lost. Then I'd send the pieces to Hardocp.

2. Phenom

#1 Tell everyone I know about the continuous satisfaction I have received over the years.
#2 Phenom

1. I'd replace my aging AMD Barton 2500Mobile at 2.5ghz. This little baby started off as a nforce 1 with a 1600XP. Capacitor flaw killed it and i replaced it with an Nforce2 and the barton. Wanted an AM2 system for a while. Not sure i like where Intel is going even if the C2D are stupidly fast.

2. Phenom

1 - build my first AMD based system and jump for joy with the power that I could unleash upon the unsuspecting masses...

2 - Phenom

1. I would defiantly probably upgrade my machine with this processor, with a very long divorce , i've had withheld money for a new computer for so long, i would be able to get out under from my old horse, AMD 2500+ XP with a whopping 512mb ram, un matched at that.

2. i wish i knew, its never fast enough, its never cheap enough, so does it matter, i'm never going to afford it, but Phenom seems to be popular.

1. Put it in my water-cooled setup and over clock the H*LL out of it while running Linux. :)

2. Phenom

1. I'd use it as my test PC at home for speedy installations of Vista and Server 2008 as my current job is in the "at risk" department due to our company being bought up by a larger fish and I need to update my skills to support my daughter and myself no matter what else happens here... Time to update that resume and MCSE from 2000 to 03/08...

2. Phenom

1. I would use it as my new coding and development computer during my senior year of my computer science degree, make everyone else drool!!!!!!!

2. Phenom

1.) Give AMD another try. Been running intel exclusively after I had a run of bad luck with first gen Athlon systems.

2.) Phenom!

1. I would replace the 4400+ X2 brisbane core in my main rig with the Black Edition 5000+ and then make my first HTPC system using the 4400+.

2. Phenom.

1) Upgrade my HTPC from its current 4000+, and put the 4000+ in a dedicated Folding@Home box.

2) Phenom X4, X3, and X2. "Phenom" is the family name.

1) I'd replace the A64 3000+ in my wife's PC so she could have the dual-core goodness.

2) Phenom.

1) I would finally have the excuse to upgrade my current AMD Athlon 1200 to a brand new water cooled gaming system.

2) Phenom

1. I would overclock the beast after I buy a good motherboard from the one and only Newegg where I do all of my PC hardware business.

2. Phenom X4, X3

1. I would build myself a new gaming rig for Crysis that I just got today. Then I would take the 2ghz Athlon X2 & parts from my current rig and build my brother a new computer because his is rather outdated and can barely run WoW. Then I would take my brothers 1.6ghz Sempron & parts and build my father a new PC because he's still rocking an old 650mhz athlon.

2. What is Phenom for $1000, Alex, I mean Kyle. (yes I realized that's not an accurate portrayal of Jeopardy, but I don't watch Jeopardy, give me a break!)

1. I will build a new system to replace my current Athlon-Tbird 750 Mhz. I use primarily to record grades and to make documents for the math classes I teach.

2. Phenom

1. Buy a new mobo from newegg, grab some RAM from same, load up ubuntu gutsy, install virtualbox and load up a virtual windows session for development

2. Phenom

1. If I had the good fortune of winning the AMD Athlon X2 5000+ Black Edition CPU I would ;)under clock it with the lowest voltage possible to save the planet when browsing the net and :Dover clock it to its maximum stable limit when carrying out cpu intensive tasks and on the rare occasion while gaming.

2. The name of the new AMD next-generation 45nm desktop processor is "RIDGEBACK" to be released in 2008.

1. If I won I would build a new AM2 system, OC the processor as far as stablily possible, and turn my 939 system(AMD X2 3800 running at 2.8ghz) into my media box.

2. Phenom
