not sure if this is right, but one of the distros has this listed

MSI K9A2 PLATINUM Q-CORE AMD 790FX DDR2 SATA2 A&GBLAN IEEE1394 CROSSFIRE ATX RTL UPC: N/A K9A2 PLATINUM 4lb MB MBD

Cn$153.00

I hope it's not a typo

Wow +1 !
That's supposed to be the board that fits 4 double-slot cards and does the best OCing. It would be nice if it were truely so affordable.

No doubt! Considering Newegg is selling the Gigabyte 790FX board for $269, this makes the choice all too easy. I can see it shaping up now: MSI K9A2 platinum + 2 GB 1066 MHz DDR2 + HD3870 + 5000+ black edition (until higher clocked Phenoms are released) ;)

MSI always comes up with aggresive pricing and their products have always been the best buck for the price but this one sounded a bit cheaper than expected to me.

I've tried to dig up prices on all 4 X16 slots RD790 based mobos..none of them are priced <$200

are you sure this board is not priced at 250?

ewiz has it for $159.65, Can someone give me an update whens AMDs new chips coming out?
