1. Upgrade my current computer, but I'd also say a prayer (since everytime I upgrade my comp, It never goes as planned)

1) I would give it to a friend of mine whom is currently having really bad luck with his computer. This would allow him to build a machine that could actually play Crysis.

1. Well if I got a new CPU (currently on 939), I'd also need a new shuttle xpc or something of similar size to go with it. The egg is the only place for me. (Talk about sounding cheesy, but it's true anyway)

1. I would OC the heck out of this thing, and game like mad before I'll have to head back to school. Oh, and I probably would get a new mobo cause my current one sucks.

1. Buy some ram and a am2 motherboard(from newegg of course) and replace my 754 system.Then I would overclock it on my custom water loop and play some Crysis :D

1. Build another machine for my collection. :)

1) I would build my new system around it. The old system could go to my cousin, if he gets B's and A's in school I told him he'd get a computer from me.

The new system after getting a new mobo from newegg (where else?!) I would OC the thing as far as it would go so it could hold me over till I can get a Phenom.

1. Well, it would replace my aging Athlon XP 2000+ and I would put that black beast to work Folding@Home baby!!! And I would play games in my spare time :)

1. I was already waiting for Phenom X4 to replace my Athlon XP 2400+ @ 2340 on air cooling. A Black Edition 5000+ would be just perfect until higher bin X4's are released next year.
Others..
Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme for air cooling.
Asus/Gigabyte AM2+ mobo
ATI RV670XT or 8800GT depending on availability by the end of this month

1. I've been thinking about building a new system sometime early next year after all the new graphic cards and CPU come out and see what the situation is, but if I win the 5000+ Black Edition, I'm going to build a new system now. Couple it with a 8800GT or 3870.

1. I'd replace the 4600+ I currently have in my system with the 5000+. I'd save the 4600+ for a HTPC I plan on building this summer.

1. I would upgrade my AMD FX-55 that I plan on upgrading after Christmas. Then I would just have to buy a new mobo, and new ram ( which I plan on doing around Christmas). I would definately buy the Motherboard and RAM from Newegg.com, they know me well haha!

1. I would finally be able to upgrade my looong in the tooth, Barton 3200+ cpu. It still gets the job done, just not as fast as an AMD Athlon X2 5000+..... I could listen to music AND play games..:D

1) I would fry, yes fry, my current Dell xps Gen 5 in cooking oil, then build a new pc from scratch around the AMD set.

1. I would upgrading my existing computer, buying various parts and such. Buy a new mobo and a new vid card and ram. It would help me out because I am in college and can't afford to buy every piece of hardware to upgrade.

Oh ya almost forgot, I would overclock it! After all, that is what black edition is all about baby!

I got a friend coming back from iraq, i would build him a nice computer for him as a welcome home surprise, and then we both can game agaist each other. and be good buds as always.

2. Let's get this out of the way: Phenom is coming to town. It's time to lock up your old X2 like it's your 16 year-old daughter. You better believe that Phenom is in fact an ex-con named Thunder who is picking your daughter up on a dirt-bike.

1. It would be a simpler question to ask me what I would not do to my new sassy piece of sexy silicon in the form of the X2 5000+ Black Edition. I would not make sweet, sweet love to the X2 5000+ because supposedly that is "wrong." So no worries, I will not sodomize my new CPU.

Considering I am typing this on a Sempron since my main rig died a few months ago, I would cherish that innocent CPU with all the love I could muster. I would also use it to be productive. I am an avid amateur videographer and love making home movies and videos of trips I go on with my family/girlfriend. Have you ever had the experience of editing HD movies on a Sempron? I can assure you that no, no you have never had that experience because your computer would explode and go on strike. I swear it laughs when I start Adobe Premiere. Give me a chance to make digital memories without being embarrassed by my own computer.

Since I am a frequent visitor to HardOCP, I play computer games. WoW, half life, you name it. Believe it or not, my Sempron CRUSHES Solitaire. I mean, liquid 60FPS at 1920x1200. That little animation at the end where the cards fly across the screen? Smooth as butter. That said....I....Hate....Solitaire. Please don't make me play it anymore.

I consider myself a respectable nerd. And I mean nerd in the coolest sense of the word. I use technology to better my life not just because it happens to be technology. I appreciate and use technology. And I have a Sempron. It's unacceptable. I have a custom coolermaster case with a Sempron. Have I mentioned I am using a Sempron? Please end my suffering with the [Hard]ness of the X2 5000+ Black Edition!!
 
1) Probably use it to build my mom a computer so she can do her autocad stuff. She is on a sempron 2800 :(.

1. I'd pat my Athlon XP thoroughbred 1700+ on the back and say you served me well. It'd then go join my Thunderbird and Palomino (almost forgot K63!) chips of the past in processor heaven.
