I really liked EVE, just wish I had more time to actually play and explore. This game hits a brick wall when you want to go into 0.0 and you're in a lame corp. not that i'm calling the [H] corp lame, but i was way way way behind them.
 
Eh? What was your name, Cow? Which 0.0 are you talking about? Stinky Providence, which totally sucked, or Catch, where we live now? I don't spend much time in Catch, as I'm a carebear, but alliance members are much happier there, even if we are surrounded by BOB. :D
 
I think it is cool that they are updating the existing world instead of planning the next one. Makes me happy that they havent deleted my dormant account.

So I havent beeing keeping track, did they ever make the market work? When I was last playing the market was pretty realistic.....until the weekly maintenance. Then it would revert back to 'zero'

I left right when [H] was moving to Catch. I was a hardcore miner, like I devoted all of my time playing to getting a Hulk. But when my account expired and I realized that I would need to play another month just to have the skills to fly a hulk (and at the rate i was earning money since i was giving the corp funds and just mining which is not all that exciting) without taking into account money. So i just let it expire, I think my room mate played on my stuff for a couple weeks because he said that one of my ships was destroyed, sigh. Oh well. I may try it again someday. Its way fun.
 
Providence isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Plenty of cash to be made and relatively secure if you are in with the right people.
 
I love that game. It's so immersive. While I like the fact that I can skill without physically being at my computer, it's also a blatant strategy for CCP to keep you subscribed. :p

Can't wait for the graphics upgrade. Should be great!
 
only thing that worries me is the devs are not using a nerf bat but a nerf bomb! with upcoming patch..........so we shall see if it all works out i hope it does. amarr still dont have their ooommph which devs have been promsing for a while now. assault frigates need a bit of work but again ccp trade mark is soon*:eek:
