Crysis demo - unlock all vehicles + weapons!

my god man...

your name is all trippy, that has got to be the trippiest name i have seen, it only has 1 word but it spells out a whole sentence :D

The Null: Pointing out totally irrelevant things since 1990!

btw the crysis thing is pretty cool too

OH
MY
GOD

that nuke launcher has got to be the most unbalance weapon i have ever seen, its like total destruction of stuff, lets just hope that the Koreans don't have them

I just wanted to chime in and say FUCK RAPIDSHARE. I will be putting this up on filefront as soon as I get it.

grr.
Crysis Crashes for me now after trying to use the Demo 5 level. How is the filefront thing coming along anyways?

edit: Seems you put it up as I was typing my reply :)

All I can say is Wow.

I have no clue what in the world they are planning on using a friggin tactical nuke TANK for but my god that thing is crazy. I shot at the snow capped island the guy put in thinking it was a normal tank. Yeah.. bad idea. It killed me and all the vehicles on the beach. Massive blast radius on it.

Mini tac launcher is cool too. Headed down the beach where they added a horde of guys. Snuck up a cliff, popped out cloaked and fired. Erm yeah.. no more bad guys.

Only gun I do not like is the precision rifle. Even being so far out that I can barely see a guy with the 10x sniper scope, they instantly would come running toward me because it is so loud. 30 guys running at you pist off makes ya move pretty quick. Ecspecially when they are showing off some nice AI work. Large group of them charged me directly while some others ran for vehicles and the rest ran off to the side and started flanking me.

Looking forward to the game, even though I have to play it on low :(

The Tacnuke Tank is a big part of the multiplayer where you use it to destroy the enemies base. Don't know if it will show up in the SP game or not.

Is there a taser in this game? I swear I read a post yesterday about it. I cannot find it for the life of me. Is it in this mod map # 5?

There is the tag bullet that you can shoot into several people at once then stun them all IIRC.

not anymore
you shoot one person and they drop immediately ,it also has a super long recharge time

Well this mod doesn't work for me at all. The game crashes to the desktop right when you click to play.

Wow. Thanks for sharing.
The nuke stuff is amazing :D
It's debris could cause collateral damage on vehicles. And tank's shot creates a shockwave on the trees.
Amazing, amazing physics.

Mine crashes when I start from a previously saved game before replacing the level file

Had to start a new game to make it work

I started a new game immediately the first time I tried it. It still doesn't work.

Works for me except the minigun makes no noise when fired.

The tank nuke is amazing although whoever made the animation didn't understand what those vertical smoke streamers were in stock nuke testing footage. I don't think they should be there in a combat nuke.

Don't think the Demo has all the sound files necessary for each weapon.

Sounds about like what'd happen with a real life precision rifle.

(Google Carlos Hathcock).

:)

Course, with all this fancy technology I'd guess you'd have something quite a bit more engaging than a 10x fixed scope.

Can't wait till I get my 8800gt, it's gonna be on~!

In my game, the guns I had taken in previous saves (I killed my self alot with the nukes :D) did not show up again,

Including that gauss gun that you first get , which makes that evil blue guy a pain.

I managed to make it work. Apparently Crysis doesn't work if executed out of the \bin64 directory after my driver upgrade. In 32bit mode it works fine and I can play the game with the mod.

Petty neat. I quite enjoy the gunship.

True, most rifles are not designed to be "quiet" but when you pop a guy at the edge of the view range his buddies should not have an instant perfect bead on your location. I have read a good deal in the past on Hathcock and I understand the fundamentals of shooting, etc since I do own real firearms.

I do not know of anyone (Mind you, I didn't say machine. Forgot the name of it but they showed a new system on Future Weapons which will display the direction of incoming fire from a single shot. Even then, its only direction.. not exact position) that can pinpoint a sniper to within a few feet from the first shot.

Take a maximum range shot with the precision rifle then cloak. The AI will rush over and walk right up to you. When they get close enough they freak and think they see something and start shooting but it shows my point. They can tell where incoming fire is coming from a little to well imho.

Still a damn fun game and a must buy in my book. Low settings or not. I will play it :)

Why can't I find any of the weapons and/or vehicles?
I'm sure I downloaded the right map (#5), replaced the level.pak in my \\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Levels\island folder, and still nothing.

I've even scoured the entire island in the editor and don't see anything. :(

Running XP Pro 32-bit, BTW.

I couldn't run the map in 64bit on xp64 since it kept crashing so i just ran the 32bit exe and it ran. It was real laggy at times though i guess because there was a lot more AI computer bots in the game after they modified it for more. It adds a lot more to the game thats for sure but the sounds are missing but overall its a good mod ;). lol already mods even on the demo. Hopefully theres this much effort put into the real game :)

I had a similar problem. I renamed the original level.pak to level2.pak and tossed in the updated file. I opened up crysis and started a new game. I went to the area where the vehicles etc are suppose to be located and there was nothing. I exited, ended up moving the old file I renamed level2.pak outside of the directory and restarted the game again. This time it worked perfectly fine. I still don't understand where things went wrong, renaming the file or moving it to a different directory shouldn't make a difference.

lol it does actually. Its like quake 3 where any file that has .pk3 in that folder will be loaded on startup of the game. So basically just gotta move it out completely so it won't be loaded ;)

Ok, so those of u that got this to work, well, you obviously played around with the nukes shot from the tanks.

I have a question, why doesn't everything get leveld by these1!?!?! Why don't tree's even move/break!? Do you think the final game will include this stuff?

Your PC will blow up or melt down into slag more then likely :D

Every single one of the branches/trees/etc would have to have their physics calculated at the same time along with everything else in the blast radius (buildings, enemies, random objects, etc). Don't think any PC would like that much.

You guys have got my mouth watering with this Nuke thing and I am at work.

Can a brother get a screenshot please? :D

That would be cool if you had an OCed peyrn.

this is pretty freaking awesome, i probably gonna try this out once i get home tonight

It is awesome. I played around for hours in the vehicles and with the weapons. If these things are in the multiplayer it may in fact turn out to be quite awesome. I didn't enjoy Far Cry multiplayer at all, but this I might enjoy depending on how they do it. As for single player the Crysis demo is enough to let me know that it will be a hit with me at least.

I was thinking the same thing. If all of those boats, helicopters, HMMV's, and tanks are available in multiplayer mode (...and the maps are of a decent size) it should be pretty awesome.

For the life of me I still can't figure out what the game is going to use tanks with two shots of a tactical nuke for. I fired that thing clear across the island to the Korean camp with the docks, jumped in a helicopter to investigate, and that entire side of the map was vacant of any Koreans (although most buildings / trees seemed intact).

The nuke gun on the other hand is odd... I landed a nuke right on top of half a dozen Koreans and a HMMV, the HMMV was completely taken out but the guys hardly flinched. It makes me suspect either the capabilities are not in the demo to properly deal with a nuke explosion, or that it was some kind of add on test not meant for the actual game.

With this little demo mod I have now spent more time combined playing Crysis sp demo then a lot of full games recently :)
