The Lian Li Gallery

My Lian Li

Cabling

and IMO the best shot that I took:

Here's my new rig with my first attempt at cable management. I would love to go to liquid but the funds are a bit low ATM :)

Great to look at, but I'm not sure I could take the noise from the drives and all those fans creating cavity resonance. Nice job anyway, thanks for the pictures!

Thanks! It's actually not too loud. The raptors are surprisingly quiet, and the fans are soothing to my ears :D The sound absorption mats help a bit too.

Lovely job Nigel ! :)

I spent most of last night sleeving all the cabling in my PC65b,The Raptor X window mod that Biff did,I copied almost to a to a T,only difference is that with mine more of the drive window can be seen.Got out the dremel and went to work. Now I am just waiting for the cold cathode lights to show up and my four Lian Li 5 1/4" face plates from NCIX,and some extra black right angle to right angle 24" SATA cables (Ebay FTW)

I went with purple lights, but think your choice of red is striking, classy, and vey cool !

I also have a PC777B here, thats waiting for some sleeving to be done.Have yet to take it out of the box its in.

ot; I truly hate cable sleeving, last night was my first attempt, and although I did a good job on the four fans and front panel USB cables, there was much knashing of teeth, and cursing and swearing !

I must admit I am in love with the removable mobo tray on the 65b  everything is just soooo much easier to do now.Pics coming within a week. And then the Tt Soprano gets the ditch to my 16 year old daughters pc.Believe it or not,the 777B is for my wife !! Yes,and by her request ! When the 65b showed up weeks ago,she pulled out a flyer from the Li Li
box in it,there were pics of past and present cases,She saw the 777,and demanded she have it for her own.I spent two weeks tracking one down nib and then had it overnighted from California to Ottawa for a pretty penny.

Over the coming weeks or month I will post many pics of the two when they are done.I'm kinda tight on time, now that I am back at Uni.

Nope...that case in the picture only has (1) rear case fan hole and only (2) 3.5" external bays. The case in those links you posted has (2) rear case fan holes and (3) 3.5" external bays.

No i would say its not the 65 B(the cased you linked too on nxix), the 65Bhas 2 80 mm fans in the front, the one in the pic has 1 120 MM fan in the front..

if i had to guess, the one in the pic is a 60BplusII

It ended up being a slightly different case.

How is it from the cleaning point of view the punched holes part in the front at these cases?Like the V1000/1200,7B,A08,007F.Does it collect a lot of dust there?

Nope no dust collects there. Well not on mine. The panel is only about 2mm thick at the most so theres not much room for it to collect. Trust me you won't be worried about the dust if your getting one you'll be worried about getting finger prints etc. all over the bay covers :p

Welp, this is my second lian li...
Had spare stuff so I built this one.

It's simple and clean.

seriously awesome.

Are these both G7? How do u like it? Will LC system fit in it?

Hmmm with some mod yah it can fit a wc kit without problem ...

either have the dual rad on top of the case by occupying two rom slot or at the bottom of the case after taking out the HDD cage..

I still love the case with air cooling as it makes it easy and simple to live with ....

and where do u mount them hdds?

If u mod the rad to fit on top of the case .. u still have the HDD cage to be used ..

if u would like to mount the rad at the bottom then get Lian Li HDD Cage EX-34/33 which could fit into the rom slot by occupying three slots and left one for the DVD-ROM...

I was finally able to finish my Lian Li PC-7A (turned PC-7A/B)..

martinez, do you run it 24/7, if so...Do you wear earplugs when you sleep? lol

And by golly, do I love these Westy's..=)

Yeah.. That's a phase change unit. Its a Vapochill Lightspeed. It does run 24/7. As for noise, its not that bad at all. Not as bad as you might think. Its a very low sound, unlike the higher pitched sounds of multiple case fans. If you had one of those small refridgerators in your room, it sounds comparable to that. As for the Westy, I LOVE it.. I have NO issues with it and only use it for my computer monitor (DVI to DVI connection).

Hmmm. Why do you have the subwoofer sideways? Is it because the hole is in the left side, or is there something else to it?
Im gonna say for the port hole so it can breath instead of hitting the side of the desk, makes it sound better how he has it instead of putting it up right.

Sounds better how he has it now, how? Because is not hitting the table, or because it actually sounds better pointing up? Cuz I mean, he could of inverted the position of the PC and the subwoofer.

Because of hitting the table, and i was thinking that too, but if you look at the case the side panel has mesh so he is using it as ventilation, so it would block it if he switched the two.

I know its basically impossible to see, but I ran into the same problem as Karan.. Instead of firing the port directly against the side of my desk, I had to position the port hole up. It sounds VERY good.. I even went ahead and did a little wire management and mounted my volume control directly to the side of my desk right in front of my sub.. (Logitech Z-2300)..
