Hey guys I have a couple of questions that i would love answered !

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=8800GT

IN that link why are the ppny 8800GT more expensive than the evga 650 oc one ?

Should I wait a couple days for better deals or just go with this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130303

I wanna get the evga Oc 700/2000 one and im willing to pay 300 for it. Do You think it will be at that price ?

Im selling my 8800gts in an hour =) for 280 !!!!!!!!

ur opinoin would mean the world to me =)

$230 for an eVGA 8800GT? now THATS what im talking about. is it on sale?

Not on sale....

From my understanding the retail price for these should be no more than $250.
The overclocked ones may be more.

Guessing the reg versions will be seen for $210-$220 fairly regularly in the near future and the overclocked versions $240-$250.

EVGA has whole rooms dedicated to hand overclocking and binning of video cards, in order to get the ones that will overclock into the special editions. Your mileage may vary. Don't expect a record setter.

Cards aren't binned very aggressively nowadays, there's nothing really to worry about.

Well my last experience with an EVGA card was a 7900GT KO (500/1500), I couldn't get the gpu clock over 530 (superclocked ones I believe were at 575 and signature series ones were at 625 or 650). My brothers got a regular EVGA 8800GTS 320, but he doesn't want his stuff overclocked (that douchebag), so I got no idea how their current cards compare when oc'ed to other oc cards.

As I said, your mileage may vary.

I'd be a bit suspicious of that deal.. might be the 256MB versions... o_O

The 256mb models haven't launched yet, and other vendors had superclocked versions for $240 earlier today ;). It is clearly marked 512mb in several places on the page, in any case.

 That would suck sooo much, but it does say 512 mb. So if it did turn out to be 256 then I think you would have great reason to be angry. But they're Fry's! Everyone loves Fry's! :D

However, it is a "pre-order", so they could be just doing a little miss-marketing. ;)
Otherwise, its a crazy good deal.

The signature series ran higher core voltages too. Sort of like I took my plain jane 7900gt from evga that wouldn't clock much higher than like 560mhz from it's stock 550, volt modded it to 1.4v , and clocked it up to 640 with almost no effort. Ran artifact free in ATItool's artifact test for a LONG time at that speed and voltage.

Haven't done much reading on these... can anyone tell me off the top of their head yet if it uses the same core as the GTX/GTS, like the 7900gt and GTX's shared cores?

I was told it is shipping tonight over the phone, so not really much of a pre-order :p.

They are new 65nm die-shrunk cores with some revisions, lower TDP, and higher clocks.

So you guys for sure that is the best deal and from what im understanding theres no debate in that card oc to 700/2000

As with any item, it can be somewhat luck of the draw, but on average you should expect that overclock level.

It *does* include the game, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, as well:
