Kinda Hot- D-Link DGL4300 108Mbps router $79.99

This is a pretty sweet router. I agree that I paid quite a bit more for mine when it first came out, but I have loved it ever since. Even though its main deal is the gigabit backend, I get pretty good wireless signal as well with it.
 
this deal is still valid. got mine in 2 days and i f*cking love it. had 2 downloads running and my my cs:s ping was unaffected, couldn't even dream of doing that on my old router.
 
Great router, got it last time someone posted it here... Best home router I've ever owned.

I had the same experience upgrading to the DGL-4300 (from a Netgear WGR614v4). I had my D-link router for about a year now and its still run strong.
 
i bought this when it was $74 shipped from frys. great deal :)

took awhile to get it setup for my voip to work but that was the voips fault. they updated it and it stopped working from behind my router. but i fixed that lil issue ;)
 
Wow, a router that's going for more than it did 6 months ago ($84 shipped, no rebate here).

Combination of factors are influencing this and here's another ... American dollar just ain't buying
what it use to. It's in the crapper right now.

Yeah, definitely a gigabit router... I've loved this thing since I first got it when it first came out, destroys my DD-WRT'd WRT54G in every single way.

soo tempting!! just got a free wireless actiontec router with my fios install... i do play games and torrent, so this would prolly be a good investment.

Tell me about it. I bought something from Canada and the Canadian dollar is worth MORE than the American dollar now. I hate to bring in politics, but Mr. Bush destroyed the dollar. He put the US in so much debt with his War on Terror that the rest of the world doesn't trust the US dollar anymore. I don't care who gets in power after this, reppie libbie or indie, but whoever does gotta realize that fixing the debt and restoring world faith in the US dollar has got to be a priority.
 
The gigabit switch is tempting but...neh, I switched over to those cheap buffalo's with the dd-wrt firmware a couple years ago and haven't looked back since.
