As title. Do you guys think that XBLA games worth the money? Personally I have only demo'ed them. And as of today none of the games made me want to pay up for the full game.

Played every single demo and from that I've bought more than 10 games... which I could list, but I wont because I'm feeling lazy.

Bought a few games, lumines, double dragon, rush N attack... a few more that I can't recall at the moment.

I have a few. I got the billiards game for free with an XBL pre-pay card and I got the poker game free during that special period, too.
I've purchased Marble Blast, Street Fighter 2 HF, and Castlevania SoTN. All three of those have gotten tons of play and are worth every penny.
I've DL'd plenty of demos and have considered buying a few. Streets of Rage 2 and Puzzle Fighter are both games I'll eventually get once I get around to it.

I can't vote since there's no option for me.

I have Castlevania SoTN, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix etc. etc., and Streets of Rage 2. I am planning to buy E4 and probably Puzzle Quest as well when I am cleared of the other games I am playing.

There needs to be a "purchased 1 to 5 XBLA games" option.

I've bought Smash TV, Worms, and Catan. There are others I'll purchase some night when I get drunk and want some old school gaming.

I picked the option for downloading over 5 games, though in reality I have exactly 5. The other choices below that obviously wouldn't have worked. Anyway, I think the Live Arcade is great. It's nice to be able to spend 5 to 10 dollars on these types of games. I still have my older consoles, so there are some games I normally would by for 5 bucks, that were on say the Genesis, but since I've already played them, and in some cases still own them, I don't get them on Live Arcade. Games like Geometry Wars, Uno, etc., I really enjoy, and I'm glad I bought them.

Poll is missing what is probably the most popular option. So we'll just call "More than 5" to include 1-10. So basically the poll is about whether you've purchased any or none.

I have 3 or 4 XBLA games.

geometry wars, onu, street fighter 2 turbo, streets of rage 2, and assault heroes for me. I always try out all the arcade demos as well. As soon as I have some free time I'm getting puzzle quest.

if you added movies and tv shows to the list I'd have a lot more..

I have purchased 37 xbl games! I have enjoyed most of them; My favorites being Marble Blast Ultra, Mutant Storm Reloaded, Alien Hominid, and Heavy Weapon.

Might as well consider the "More than 5" option in the poll as 1-10 purchased arcade games, since the 1-5 option is missing.

Just thought I would add some upcoming arcade games I am interested in: Castle Crashers, Mutant Storm Empire, Undertow, Ikaruga, Switchball, etc.

Puzzle Quest is my latest (and most played) purchase.

I also have Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe, that putt-putt game, Pac Man CE, Geometry Wars, Sonic and a few others.

There's some really good nostalgia games and some new ones like Puzzle Quest (well, newer at least) that are great choices. I mostly download them, try them once and delete them, but I think there are good games for everyone.

I want to pick up Band of Bugs and maybe Catan later on.

None of the poll responses fit me so I can't answer with it.
I have bought 3 or 4 games. w00t

Same. There are some good deals out there. Castlevania: SOTN is one of them. Root Beer Tapper is another one of my favorites. I marked the 10+ check, but I think I only have about 7 or 8 games purchased because I counted the 6 DLC packs on gh2. I really should change it to 5+ though.

yea need a less than 5 option in there. The only game I've bought so far is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I played it a lot when it first came out and really haven't touched it since though multiplayer was kinda laggy most of the time.

What's that one game called... the one with the robots or something. It was the first game to use the Unreal Engine 3. Was it called Roboblitz or something? Anybody have that? How is it?

Yes, its RoboBlitz. I enjoyed it, but the controls are awkward. Finding everything and figuring out the puzzles was entertaining, but it could have been better. Defeating the bosses was the best part of the game. I would buy it again for the $15 if given the choice.

I'm sure im missing a few...but:

Castlevania:SOTN
Catan
Carcasonni (and the expansion)
Mortal Kombat 3

Will be getting Talisman, probably SFHD

I download demos often.

I've only bought a few off live. Got a few from the vision camera and a few for free. I would buy more, but I think a lot of them are pretty pricey for what they are. However the good thing about points cards is that you can get them on sale. I got 4000 points from buy.com for like ~$25 AR a few weeks ago.

Anyone play the new arcade games this week? Exit and Battlestar Galactica

I was enjoying Exit quite a bit. Battlestar Galactica had great graphics, but I'm not sure about the gameplay (great TV show though). I might purchase both if I get bored, but there are so many great games I need to play this holiday I doubt I will find the time.

yes, three games (so i didnt vote)

geometry wars: retro evolved
Sonic 1
Sonic 2

ive done some other demos, but these were the ones i actually felt like buying
