Thanks, Its and old but you cant tell from that pic that it has seen some days but I cant get rid of it. It fits me better than any of the other ones my wife buys me. If that was directed toward me on the austinites. I live in Texarkana, AR.

HOOK 'EM!!!

Nice hat

I agree, its the best hat ever! My whole family went to UT, on BOTH sides of the family.

Hook'em Horns!

Sorry to be off-topic, but I had to put the post in!

Oh adn I'm form East Texas, FYI.

I sadly just moved away from Austin to Minneapolis. I love watching UT play some football.

doesnt anyone have MAC setups ?

This is a computer enthusiast forum. Macs are not marketed to enthusiasts, are less upgradeable (or in cases where they are, often more expensive to upgrade for the exact same or inferior components) and far more expensive than a comparably set up PC. Macs have far less software available, especially with regard to games, when compared with Windows based PCs. Sure, some people have Macs here, but they are a minority among a minority. You're not going to see many, if any at all. People around here are more likely to rebuild a PC in a Mac G5 tower case because they like the look of the case than use actual Apple components. ;)

I seem to remember seeing a couple setups where people had a Powerbook on their desk next to a PC. But yeah, the typical Apple demographic and the [H]ard|Forum demographic don't really overlap much.

That is true, but there is plenty of Mac setups, both in this thread and in the Apple forum. In the Apple forum there are "Post your Mac Setup" type thread; this one is more towards, as you said, the enthusiasts or the actual work station at the office.

Updated pic of my setup.

New mouse (G9), new laptop (for teh GF to play WoW on) and another gundam :)

You forgot to mention that all the pics in the "Show your Mac Setup" all the same. :D (which is kinda boring.)

Obiwanshinobi900,

I got two words for ya...
"Cable Management."

That case really needs some TLC

1. I've since cleaned up my icons. I just don't feel like taking more recent pictures right now, my desk is a wreck.

2. The cable management isn't as bad as you think. Its only up there because all my hdds, my psu, cold cathode cables and fan cables only reach up there. Most of them are not long enough to be hidden behind the motherboard tray. :(

Where there's a will, there's a way my friend...Buy longer cables and/or extensions. :) I myself will spend 4hrs, sometimes more just to get it to look aesthetically pleasing and functional. Less is More in my book...

Bingo ;)...in my case I use an ungodly amount of zip ties in order to get everything just right.

I have that same desk

Its the office depot onyx black glasstop desk.
The glass is really strong too, it can easily support my pc and my monitor, I used to have a big ass crt on it also.

How the hell do you guys take pictures like that so smooth? Do you guys edit the photos or something if so can show some tutorials?

Amateurs worry about equipment.
Professionals worry about money.
Artists worry about light.

By using the right settings with decent lighting, obviously a half decent camera helps ;)

Use a tripod and look for the shot you want. Make sure you have a lot of light in your room and turn off the flash on the camera. White balance the camera so the colors are proper and adjust any exposure settings so the lighting looks true to life. Take the picture on the steady tripod without jerking the camera any when you press the button. (delayed timer helps too, set it to like 5 seconds and step away)
