Just wanted to share my positive feedback on the Logitech G9 gaming mouse. Recently replaced my G7 with one and I'm very happy with it.

Its seriously the best bits of all logitechs mice cramped into one unit. Its a shame its wired, but that was to please the "gamers" that wouldnt believe that the G7 was a great gaming mouse.

I'm using the 'phat' grip mostly and the heaviest weights, and it has a much nicer feel to it than all the other Logitech and Razor's I've used. Setpoint is as good as ever with all the options and settings I'll ever need. A small amount of on-board memory to store a few profiles if you move computers a bit is a bit of a gimmic but might be good for someone.

9/10 for me. - 1 since i'd rather a wireless one.

Cool & clean setup, how's that keyboard/mouse for gaming ? Any improvement (easier) from regular ones ?

Totally. The G15 get's its biggest workout in WoW but its a great keyboard in general. I don't care what people say about it, I use teh LCD screen heaps.

The mouse is very resposive with the Func Ind. pad and I find better to use than my old G7.

Also though all the hardware in the world wont make you an uber gamer. For that to happen you have to have amagic gaming mascot. Mines the MK2 Titan gundam standing next to the monitor. Once you've found your mascot you'll be unbeatable.

:p

You're just a Logitech slut! :p Take a look at that the G15, the G9, and the X-530s or is that the 230?

BTW I should be one to talk, since I have the G15, X-530s, and a MX518 on my desktop, and I use a either an LX7 or a Marble Mouse on my personal laptop, along with the Logitech EX110 keyboard. With my work comptuer I have a Marble Mouse and Logitech Cordless keyboard.

I also own 3 sets of Logitech headphones with mics. What can I say, I too am a Logitech Slut. I might have to try the G9 soon though.

BTW what is the foot in the right corner of the picture?

you know, I just realized that I, too am a Logitech slut. I have an ultra-x keyboard, g9 mouse, x-530 setup at home, as well as a vx revolution for my laptop. I might be a total logitech slut if it weren't for my old MS Sidewinder Precision Pro USB, which you'll have to pry from my cold, dead hand.

In fact, the VX Revolution is, by far, my favorite mouse. It's the perfect size and has that awesome new scrollwheel that all the newest logitechs are getting. Only trouble is that it won't track consistently on either of my mousepads, so I only use it with the notebook at work/school. My home desk has a surface that's kind of weird, and mice don't slide easily over it, so I definitely have to use a pad, or I'd use the VX at home, too.

I grabbed the G9 the other day too. Definitely an awesome mouse. i've heard complaints about it having "old skool" looks or whatever but i bet those people haven't held one in their hand.

i swap the different grips pretty regularly and I hear they *might* put out more in the future.

the scroll wheel is awesome (can be clicky or free-spin) and of course you can customize the color of the led's. sweet
