Thermalright HR-03 ramsink types

I'm curious, what do you figure the real world temperature difference is between those memory chips cooled by the standard-sized ramsinks and those cooled by the flat types?

Probably about half a degree....if that. Certainly not enough to worry about

Interesting. It just seems to me like the surface area on those flat ones renders them almost useless as effective heat sinks when compared to its taller friends.
