Throughout the course of time, I've overclocked everything I've owned.. LOL.

mini ATX boards don't stand in my way, I pin mod those to overclock athonXP barton cores..

motherboard BIOS's with controls disabled don't stand in my way... I modify the BIOS, enable the menus and flash it to the board.

Now, my latest hurtle is this HP computer I got. Of course, there's no clock controls in the BIOS for this thing.

So, on to my question. Is there a pinmod/trick to overclock this e6300?

Thanks for the help!

There is a 1333 FSB pin mod. Remember coming across it on XS.

well I tried this trick tonight, but unfortunatly it didn't work. I verified the bridge with a multimeter too.

The computer wouldn't bring up the POST screen or anything. I removed the conductive ink, and boom, she fired right up.

so either the motherboard doesn't like the faster FSB, or the ram isn't fast enough... Not sure.

Anyway, thanks for suggesting clockgen, I'll play with that a little bit and see if I can get anything out of it!

I'm also having non related issues.. I'm running Vista.. I had VMWare server installed for quite a while, and uninstalled it recently. Ever since the uninstall, this computer can't access the network. sometimes it can get an IP, sometimes it can't... when it CAN get an IP, it can ONLY access local computers, and can't get past the router.. I've been reading around online and apparently other people have had issues like this. I'm trying a bunch of stuff... netsh winsock reset ... netsh int ip reset .... sfc /scannow.. ipconfig /flushdns ... ipconfig /release ... ipconfig /renew... etc.. hopefully I can get this resolved..
