Got Thermaltake Armor VA8003BWS black case I notice that the video card can't get seated right do to the case. I don't see the pins once is the slot. but there is a 1 milimeter or so on the back of the video card thats suppose to sit flat on the rear of the case where you plug your monitor. The front side of the card where the pic express white hook is in tight but the rear end might be a tiny bit out, but I can't see any pins I don't even notice. I can only notice the rear part of the card where it suppose to sit flat on the case. I hope you can have a picture of what i'm saying. Not sure if im right or no. Also another thing, I don't see the gold pin connectors of the video card once is inserted. Even one side might be tiny bit higher or like .15 degrees angle from the graphics slot which im thinking that all the pins still have contact with the graphic slot.

It might be fully inserted on the graphics slot. But if is not inserted all the way or maybe the pins have not 100% contact shouldn't the card not be working at all when you boot up the computer or see nothing on the monitor or even hear the motherboard detecting video card error?
I just use the toolless clips to secure the video cards. I have to use it because I can't screw the video card to the case since it not all the way. Now my X-fi PCI sound card fist perfect and i'm able to screw it on the case to whole it. Weird:confused:
My motherboard fits perfect and the I/O in the back align perfect with the mobo back connectors.

Ok I post pictures this should help BTW this is a temporary video card which is the 8600GT not the 8800GTX btw both have the same PCI brackets length.
As you can see that I can't get the video card to align with the whole on the case, and other picture shows the rear of the computer. The video card is not straight parallel with the rear of the case.
But my PCI sound cards fits find, thats so weird.

no I don't want to force it, if i do it will pull the case or give to much force on my slot. It can't more then that. You can see bottom of the where my PCI sound card nicely fits in.

i have the same case i had to do that. trust me it works. u only screw it in enuff that u need.

I did try but I notice my mobo start to bend a little where the PCI express is hooked in. I don't know is normal this is my first PCI express machine before I had AGP's and never encounter this type of problem.

Just bend the bracket a little and screw it in, it really does work, I have to do that all the time at work when I'm building/repairing computers.

ya what they said, just bend the bracket and use a screw. I have tt armor and my friend has 8800gtx sli in tt armor and that's pretty much what you have to do.

If I don't push it all the way in so I can be able to screw it, will it case damage to the video card or motherboard. I have been running like this for 2 months now. I been having some game freeze and hangs that I have 1 choice is to hit the reset key. I don't know is this related. This freezing problem start 3 weeks ago.

Okay we're not going to say it again....

Bend the bracket and screw it down!!! :p

Those cases have a "loop" of sorts the end of the bracket needs to fit into, your issue is its not going in, its resting on the edge. If you bend the bracket, and then screw it down slowly, it will pop right in. If I have to I will make a sexy picture in M$ Paint.

And if the card is making bad contact it could cause those issues you are having.

Mine is the same way, i think i have to bend the bracket to make it work. But it is good to know that i am not the only one.

Bend the case bracket, not the video card bracket.

The material of the case is way more flexible than your video card.

take out those stupid copper thingy's ...I'm not sure what the idea behind em was but none of my expansion cards would fit right until i yanked those all out and ditched the "tool-less" plastic tab securing stuff. Good old screws work just fine.
