This e6700 has treated me well for the couple of months that I've owned it. Purchased it here on the forums (ocforums.com), and it's a very capable chip. I run it daily at 3.6Ghz @ 1.4v (on water), but it has also hit 3.8Ghz @ 1.55v Orthos stable for a few hours, good enough for some 3DMark runs. If you have better cooling (I'm using a plain Apogee and an MCR320) and it's not 90F ambient (like it's been here for a few days :)), then you may be able to push it higher. And remember, this bad boy has up to a 10x multi, making it potentially more useful for overclocking than those wimpy e6850s. :)

Asking: $300 $280 shipped within ConUS. I have the original box and heatsink/fan, so it will ship with that stuff unless you have no need for another stock C2D heatsink. :)

I'll accept non-CC Paypal (have to be firm about this, sorry) and USPS MO. Heat under aaronjb.

I didn't see those messages, but thank for taking care of any issues VA.

Remember, this is a proven clocker and it's still cheaper than retail. Sure, the e6x50's are out, but you don't get the 10x multi with those, and it's the luck of the draw when you order from a retailer.

The highest FSB with my evga 680i was ~490Mhz (490x7). That was with the eVGA P28 BIOS, and I bet the P30 can go even higher.
