Thanks for the link, I actually remember seeing that :p

Thats exactly the type of corner table I want, just shorter in either direction because I won't have as much room when I move into my new place. I also checked out Ikea's page and luckily, they still sell the series.

Here is my new 2407WFP!

I have the same wheel. Microsoft sidewinder wheel. Still the best wheel around IMO. And I've tried the G25, MOMO wheels, some Logitech wheels, bah...

Is that Evangelion I see down there?

Yep, it is. It's the first edition with 5.1 surround and cleaned up film remaster. Don't know how many more versions after this one were released.

victor_c26...

You need a bigger desk bud.

Yes, yes I do. :)

lol @ the speakers on mousepad :)

You should have seen when I had it on a stack of cd cases, which were on the mousepad. It was an attempt to line up the left and right speakers by height. I stop caring about linearity, and more about being able to use my damn mouse efficiently. :D

I like the Microsoft Sidewinder forcefeedback wheel well enough, although I find it a touch small for me. What I wish I had is a decent joystick - I can't find anything I like out there these days that I prefer over my CH Flightstick Pro!

but CH flight stick pro is the old game port input, isn't it? How can you get it to work w/ today's USB ports?

I own the CH flight stick pro too. And a no. of yr. ago, upgrade to the CH Gamestick 3D, excellent product made in USA

Started? I'm confused.

I think they're in the middle of the summer term atm.

Lol, thought you were a UMich student from your URL and you said move-in. Which was why I was confused since I didnt think UMich started so early.

I actually came across a USB Flightstick a few years ago - wanted to buy it but it was $100. I always regretted not getting it...

I believe that's the one I bought. Still using it today. It's not just the fact that it's made in USA, but the tactical feedback and the smoothness of this joystick, nothing compares to it. I try to feel the other brands: sidewinder, all the logitech, etc., they are stiff and has occasional "popping" sound at the base where the stick connects to it.

During idle, my system pulls around 245 watts. So the UPS lasts about 18 minutes. Enough to save my work though. I also have a UPS backing up my router/modem, haha.

Thrustmaster Cougar? http://cougar.frugalsworld.com/
I have one. It's very high maintenance though. Stuff breaks in it all the time.

I've always wanted to do that. :D

Surfing the net even though there's a complete black out in my area.

Yeah, I have a laptop so even when there is a blackout, I can usually still use the Internet for another 3 or 4 hours. Quite nice really, having candles all around, yet having working Internet.
