The Official Core 2 OverClocking Database *READ 1st Post for Instructions*

Now all you need to do is put some water on that hot running sucker............;)

Looks like Coretemp is reporting the TJunction wrong on these, so that 60C-ish temperature it's reporting is actually 50C-ish.

hmmm between the volts and cooling interesting.... ill try to make it a small column though not too big so for example:

(idle/load/ambient)

(36/48/70*F)

something like that? ambient as in room temp I am assuming.

Looks good to me.

Videomasterz, I need to remind you the TDP of G0 Q6600 is 95W, not 105W so correct this :)

I dunno but it seems to be pretty unstable as of late, I wonder if it has anything to do with the new software...as it stands I see some features are missing from the forum software, so I think we're back on old stuff?

I have 3600MHz stable as well, but I don't have a screenshot that includes the RAM settings, so I don't know if it would count as a fully stable screenshot - let me know if it does, otherwise I'm not going to bother until it gets colder because the temps get too high on the average day. I was able to get this overclock in last night because my room dropped to 67F, when it's usualle 75F+ at this time of year. I almost forgot them again this time - but there is a thumbnail below this large image that shows the settings.

No, it can be whatever you like. The lower the better. ;)

You need to read the very first post in this thread and meet the testing / screenshot requirements to be added to the overclock database.

Good luck with the results and keep us posted!

Resubmitting this due to the DB issues...

Here's my first official attempt. I still think I can get a bit more out of it with the new BIOS, once I get around to tidying up the cables and making sure there's a good bit of airflow up top.
