I wouldn't go near the stuff. I don't drink anything with calories in it (except for milk) and I don't drink anything with caffeine in it.

I've never understood why people need energy drinks. I've never needed them to stay up all night or concentrate on something. It has always seemed kinda weak that someone would need caffeine and sugar to be able to get through something like that.

To me if you need to drink energy drinks to make through a weekend lan party, then you are definitely not [H]ard. :p

You ever pulled an all nighter?

You ever pulled an all nighter?

Yes, I did all the time in college (about once a week) and still do occasionally. Sometimes I decide to just skip a night because by the time I get to bed it is only an hour before I need to get up. There are at least 2-3 nights a week that I get less than 3 hours of sleep. I never need any caffeine or some type of energy drink to stay awake. Seriously, WTF is the big deal about staying up all night.

I actually had a friend ask me if I was on Meth because of my sleeping habits in college. I would stay up and sleep maybe 1-2 hours each night all week and then sleep 14-16 hours both Friday and Saturday night. I'd go to bed at 2-3am and sleep until 5-6 at night, there were quite a few times that I slept through dinner. Maybe I am just use to it.

I wouldn't drink it myself, but having a few cans around the ER might be good for a few laughs. :D

I love energy drinks. Bring on the [H] drink, but know that it must have at least 160mg of caffeine to qualify!

Hell yes. :D I hope that you consider that not all your readers are from the US when working out the shipping side of this. ;)

Do you need BETA testers?

If so sign me up. PM me for my address to mail a few cans to me! :)

That's not healthy. I used to do that. I can pull two to three all nighters with no caffeine. For a while, the mind starts to get sluggish. Try to aim for six hours. Eight hours is entirely too much. The key is to sleep in 90 minute increments.

Out of curiosity, do you eat very little? That may have an effect.

Milk is the nastiest thing ever. How people can drink that shit I'll never know.

I would try just for the sake of what it is. However, what differs the [H] energy drink from other energy drinks in terms of molecular composition?

Add another vote for the: Will drink it if it doesn't taste like crap.

I hate energy drinks that taste like crushed smarties.

Damn, milk is THE drink. Next to water, it's about all I drink. (a few beers once in a while.....hehehehe:D )

Hot day,cold milk.......nothing better.

I would only buy it if laying the empty can on top of my case would make my PC [H]arder and tougher.

I'd only buy this as a "no carb/sugar" version. I drink enough energy drinks, etc., for the calorie/carb content to be pretty important for me. At leaast 3-4 companies (including monster, my personal favorite) have the no carbs, and its about all i'll drink any more.

Please please please for the love of all that is just and right, make a version that is non-carbonated. Not being able to drink 90% of the energy drinks out there makes it hard to stay competitve when the wee hours of the LAN roll around. :D

[H]ard work and [H]ard play makes Kyle a [H]ard boy.

Just don't point that thing at me...

o[H] [H]ell yes. Especially if it tastes good and [H]as tons and tons of caffeine. ot[H]er t[H]an t[H]at, make it affordable?

Wow i realized writing like that is incredibly annoying. Im never doing it again.

All these energy drinks are bad news IMO. I work with people that drink the stuff and their mouth runs circles around their brain. It's like ADD in a can.

Even worse for those of us that take meds for it. I can live without my energy drink every day but I've found that Rockstar Juiced + Adderall increases my coding efficiency by 92349283%... its a proven fact. To prevent the crash from both, I spend my last few hours at work downing water.

Whenever the world slows down and I speed up, that's when you know its working :D

[H]ell yeah as long as it meets the broken record, err, condition of:

Not making it taste like crap... *skip*

I'd atleast try it, but it *has* to be like downing a cup of coffee to be [H]ard imo.

^^ What he said.

Must not taste like crap. Should be equal to or better in taste to Monster.

Agreed....I have tried a few different drinks and Monster does taste the best. If you can match that....I would definitely give it a shot.

like to try it? excuse me but if an [H]ard energy drink came out i would buy a case,no nvm, a seacontainer full:p and play counter strike all night, the next night, and well, you get the idea;) . just make sure it has a shitload of stuff that causes insombia, sleep depervation, and could cause seisers:D (a la SPIKE SHOOTER:eek: ) i love this idea, but the product would need to live up to the [H]:)

Taste isn't as important as people think... Just look at Redbull.

It's all about the horsepower in it. That said I don't drink these anymore, but for a cool [H] can I'd buy a few for the desk.

ROLF. Best quote in the thread. :D

Yeah, an energy drink would be nice. I would like something different than Bawls or anything currently on the market though. No fruity flavors or anything that tastes like the bottom of a garbage can. lol :)

been reading the comments about the ingredients of some of the drinks... made me wonder about my beloved NoFear Sugar Free....

http://www.sobenofear.com/huh/sugarfree.shtml

77mg of the C word, lots of B vitamins, no HFCS (since that would seriously defeat the purpose of "sugar free")

The tall boy can contains "2 servings" (yeah.... right) so I am thinking that 77x2 = 154mg of caffeine.

With the lack of sugar "rush" and the lack of corn syrup, I have found that my "crash" is not nearly as pronounced as it used to be when I was downing RedBull (pre-diabetic diagnosis) on a regular basis.

Then I compared it against :
http://wilstar.com/caffeine.htm

Just an interesting tidbit of info that I thougth I would share!

I'd be interested if it wasn't completely reliant on caffeine alone. Maybe it's just a placebo effect for me, but I've noticed that I seem to gain more out of an energy drink that's packed with vitamins rather than just caffeine alone. On caffeine alone, I seem to burn out the 'boost' a little quicker than something that at least has B vitamins in it. Vitamin ones, I seem to be able to have all the energy I need. I can have one in the morning and I won't crash out till about 10PM, which is when I should be going to bed anyway. (I really end up going to bed around 2AM, which is why I need an energy drink at 7AM in the first place. LOL)

many people here want an energy drink that is caffine free, sugar free, ect... thats all great but is it really [H] worthy? the [H]ard energy drink needs to be covered in warning labels;)
