I'm looking for something a bit odd that is for a special project at my work.

Is there a LCD display out there that can do preferably 2560x1200 or 1920x1200 natively that is under 24"?

Yes to the 1920*1200 under 24" (23" etc.) a bunch do. Also the Viewsonic VP2290b does 3840*2400 @22.2"; so it might do 2560*1200.

1920x1200 is the more reasonable pixel density at 24" & below. However there are some specialist displays such as the IBM T221 - 22" & 3840x2400. Alternatively have a look at some of the medical displays by Planar or EIZO (Radiforce)

Can't see anything that will do 2560x1600 natively apart from the usual 30" models
