can i run this ram?

i have a new system that i bought that im using 4x 1 gig sticks of this

and we have an older system here at work that is a hp pavillion a1560n that needs ram so i was going to donate mine to his system and get more.

i looked up compatible ram for the hp and this is what i found

the specs are alittle diff.. diff timings and diff voltage. my ? is will it work in the hp. are the timings and voltage diff because the ram is higher speed?

as long as it works at the the lower speed of the hp im fine.

Well I don't know what your system is but if your system needs say DDR2-667 ram and you buy DDR2-800 ram, the new ram will just run at the slower speed and be fine. I think there are better options then those GSkills at that price though. For example the crucial ballistics are $80 AR.
