i was talking to him about a GTX 2 days before the FS thread hit...and he won't answer any of my questions about it since the FS thread posted.:mad:

It seems that if you mention the words "ship first" he stops talking to you, that's an awesome sign.

I asked him about that and he continued to PM me. He has had ~2000 hits in a few days and probably a lot of PM's. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
 
I never got a response after asking him to ship first.. still waiting on that PM. Althou, I guess by now both GTX's are gone.
 
i sent $10 for Splinter Cell. I have a very bad feeling about all of this.

Yes i just checked my paypal account guys i have 3 8800 sold.. I don't know how the hell i confused myself to sale 3 of them.. lol its funny but not funny for the buyers.. Im getting everything striaghted out right now. Someone gonna be mad at me when i refund them :( ...

Yup, I bet he's building up our trust by selling 8800GTX's and 22" LCD's for cheap and just when we think he can be trusted he goes ahead and scams us on the $10 copies of Splinter Cell :mad:

who was that directed to, to HiJon? or the OP? bah...he's right though (the OP), someone is gonna be pissed when he refunds them. I'm sensing a negative feedback on his first trade thread...not good.

To HiJon - I'm not going to die over $10, that's not what I'm concerned about. What I am concerned about is everyone that coughed up hundred of $...because it was almost me. I had been talking to the OP about one of the GTXs 2 days before this thread ever went up. As soon as it did go up, he stopped chatting.

Sounds like whoever responded most recently with a desire to buy got in rather than whoever responded first. Oh well, in the end, it's your call to sell to whoever you want :(

Items I bought have been shipped. Waiting for FedEx to update tracking info so I can track it and see when my items arrive.

He did let me know if his wife is 8 months pregnant ahead of time. He missed 2 days due to his wife being in the hospital. I would never fault anyone for that, especially when they let me know in advance. Items shipped out yesterday and I will be leaving 2 positive heatware evaluations assuming everything else goes through smoothly.

I PMed him about the 8800gtx he was selling and nothing raised any red flags. I think people should just relax. If the stuff doesnt get to the buyers in a week then raised hell. He might just want to get rid of stuff quick and he has a pretty valid reason as to why (wife pregnant).
 
I'd still like to buy the E6600, but he hasn't responded to my PM in two days.
 
I've heard nothing since I sent payment...I smell something...like a Paypal dispute coming...FROM ME. I've tried PMs over the last coupld of days, and I've been a good boy...checking my mailbox...nothing there yet, and no PM response either.

Sent payment about a week ago as well, haven't heard from him since that day. Since I supposedly live close enough to him that any carrier could have it delivered to me within a day, I should've gotten it by now if anything was shipped out. Sent PM a bit earlier, but I guess I shouldn't have high hopes given everyone else's response so far. Also keeping Paypal dispute as an option if I don't get any sort of response soon, because this stuff really should've been here before the 7/22 Intel price cuts :<
