Ok gamers, can you please try this in a game and provide your results of it works or doesn't work.

Please list your keyboard + result below if you could, I'm trying to find a keyboard that support all 4 key strokes :).

Test:
Holding "W", "A" (or "D") press "ALT+X".

Keyboard: Microsoft PS2 (IntelliType I think)
Result: Fails. 3 key max (w/o ALT, just "X" works, or 1 movement key + combo).

My old black Dell keyboard works just fine. It's a PS/2. I did have a logitech USB, but I ran into the same problem you had.

Ok so its not a USB/PS 2 difference, but more of a keyboard design problem?

Anyone know if it works on the G11/15?

So the combo listed above worked right?

I know other combos that do, but that is one that I can think of atm that doesn't respond.

Initially tested with ctrl and it worked, (misread the post,) but jsut testd it again with alt and all works as advertised, had it bound to crouch, z and x bound to look left/right and WSAD bound to movement and it worked AOK.

Ty for double checking =), I think that any combo of 4 or more doesn't work for me (EG: Jumping + movement + another key combo).

aahhh icic, honestly I use a combination of keyboard, (G15) and game pad, (Cyber Snipa by FlexiGlow); yea I know dumb name but the pad actually works really well, the combination of the 2 gives me the ability to hit at least at this point quite a few different button combinations without any interference.

Well on my cheap Gearhead keyboard it works ok, tested with A+W (move) + Alt (Jump) + E (Camera Change).

Yeah, what you're looking for is Full N-Key Rollover (or at least Alpha N-Key Rollover).

I tried to get a Model M with custom electronics made for Full N-Key, but it would cost me a ton and I'd have to make a bunch of keyboards and then sell the rest for it to be anywhere near feasible.
