A new study says that the broadband growth rate is slowing across the United States.

Price reductions and other factors led to 40 percent growth in adoption from March 2005 to March 2006. Over the following year, growth was a more modest 12 percent, the Pew Internet and American Life Project said in a report Tuesday.

You know, this is just sad, after years of boy bands like N’Sync and the Back Street Boys, you’d think that our country would be more supportive of broad bands.

Your comments usually make me laugh, and I do appreciate the effort here. But I'm going to be honest, that one was a little cheesy, Steve. :p

O.k.... broadband growth is slowing.... so what... it just means that most people that need it have it already.

Why do people spaz about the growth of something slowing when it is just due to the fact that not as many people still don't have it?

I got an upgrade from 4mb to 10mb last year that came with a £15 a month price drop from my ISP which was very nice, and this weekend i got a free upgrade to 20mb which is seriously cool.

Has nothing to do with the topic but i'm so happy i just had to tell people :D:D:D:D

When, when, when will we see Broadband over power lines?
As for those boy butter bands like the Backside Bois I'll pass.

hrmmm.. over power lines.. as if we already don't have enough issues with getting clean power in the first place.... say bye bye to surge protectors, UPS's, etc.
