I am gearing up for my first build, hope to be ordering Friday or over the weekend, but still wondering which board to get. I like both, especially the 1333 FSB support on the p5k, to add pyren later, but will the lack of ddr3 affect that. Please let me know what everybody thinks! thanks for all the help!

Lack of DDR3 on the plain P5K will not affect your ability to run Penryn processors.

I definitely recommend the P5K. The P5K-E sounds to be quite a bit cheaper and only missing Wi-fi, but I'm definitely loving my P5K-Deluxe.

These things make OC'ing so easy...

Definitely the P5K. They seem to be in the same ballpark pricewise. Even for the extra $20 or so, I'd get the P5K.

go for the P5K DLX mate, newer technology , better timings in bios new dividers aka the works, and it overclocks as the P965 with dual cores and even better with quadcores...

I would only go for the P5B DlX if it was much cheaper

Thanks for the reassurance! I will be getting the P5K Deluxe then. Just for your information, here is everything else I'm getting to go with it!
P5k Dlx
PC P & C Silencer 610W PSU
2x1gb G Skill Cas 4 Ram (4-4-4-12)
C2D 4300
WD Caviar 320 GB sata HDD
All in an Antec 900

Right now i don't have the money to purchase a vid card with it, but i will probly be getting an x1950 or 8600GTS in a month or 2, plus prices will come down, and i may just get an eVGA 8600GTS just so i can then step up! Thanks for all the help!
