NOD32

The promo code from the email doesn't appear to work right now.
Try it again later.
$29.99 is still an excellent price and you get the CD.

I've been using NOD32 for nearly 4 years and love it. I install it on the systems of anybody I care about.
I LOVE it's silent mode...you barely know it's there except when it does it's job.

hopped on this. OneCare blows, and this was way expensive previously. Thanks for the heads up.

got mine free @ the bay

Better reread the rules if you value your current account status, pirate boy ;)

If by "the bay" you mean that place where thar be pirates, well... ugh... might consider not admitting such things around these parts.

I don't have anything to go on but what you said and how you said it, soooo... be fair warned, either way.

Kind of working- $29.99 with free shipping.

Also picked up the P180B deal, as well.

This must be the best virus software these days? I've used Norton in the past and hated it.... too many problems. I havn't had any problems with Mcaffeeeeee.... but this seems like a good deal. How long is the service for? Is it a year and have to upgrade each year or is it lifetime?

... just a heads up - as a reformed torrent user, I got popped by my ISP on a couple of occasions and it only happened when I had pulled the tracker from the Bay. Be warned the RIAA and the MPAA plus DCMA firms troll that place as the most popular tracker.

It's really not worth it IMHO. If you don't get cutting edge titles at release time, a good game cost like $25 and you get full support, upgrades, and peace of mind.

helping others is step 8 of my 10 step program. :)

they were handing out free nod32 licences from some german promotion, keep an eye out and maybe they'll do it again

I usually don't run av 24/7 but this is a good program. Probably the only av I'll use.

Better deal at OfficeDepot just FYI.

Kaspersky Internet Security for $80 with $80 in rebates = FREE (just pay tax)

And they often pricematch competitor coupons. OfficeMax has a $20 off $50 coupon. They pricematched it for me.

My total came to $65 with $80 in rebates. lol I made $15 buying Kaspersky Internet security. :)

You may have to be a newegg newsletter subscriber to use the code

I couldn't find how many licenses come with this copy.
Anyone familiar with NOD know?

Regular one user license is $39, so this most likely is a single user. At some point there'll be a rebate at a retail store that'll get it for free. They all seem to get there eventually...

what are you talking about? my friend is a dock worker in brooklyn... you'd be surprised what kind of crap ends up in dumpsters by the peirs.. why all the threats? =/

great program btw

For this anti-virus, do you need to purchase a new license every year or do you just need to purchase it once and receive the updates free for the lifetime?

The purchase is for a one year subscription of daily updates.

Thanks OP. Great AV; in for one. Promo code worked for me (EMC604FESET).

Can you use this on all computers you own, or do you have to buy one for each computer?

To the best of my knowledge, it's for one system.
They do sell Family Packages if you check out that link a few posts up...the rates are much nicer on those....further discounts for 2 year deals.

Great AV... uses less resources than anything I've tried and consistently beats everything at detecting viruses, worms, zero day attacks, etc. Makes Norton look like a 400 lb. child trying to play catch up.
