Funny that you chime into comment when all of your socalled facts, theories and arguments got shot to hell when you had your brief cameo appearance over on XS.
Where are the "socalled fact, theroies, and arguements" that got shot down? I only saw the thread get locked and not because of people at [H]......
Kinda funny though.
LOL. It got locked because of the flaming that went on. You fail to mention that all of your (and like minded "low flow performs just as well as high flow" cult members) "theories" and "facts" got shot down by most of the forum throughout that thread.
I think this thread pretty much sums up this whole issue about what the high flow cult is really about.
So I am sure then by your point of view all MacGeeks must be judged by the Newton, all PC users by Windows ME, all Ford drivers by the Pinto, so on and so forth.
One company releasing one product does not equate to being analagous to the way an entire group of people acts, thinks, and believes. But you keep spraying your misinformation and FUD if it makes you feel better.
Your one of the better ones so that comment wasn't intended for you. However, you have to admit that there are plenty of people around here for whom my comment was definitely appropriate.
For example, when you add someone to your ignore list, just add them to you ignore list. There is absolutely zero reason to make a post which says "someone just made my twit list" other than to try and provoke and create more pointless drama.
It actually shows the people who argue to argue, which we seem to have a recent influx of......
.... your unproven claims that "low flow is better or as good as high flow" theories. They're just here to set the record straight and inform you and your cult that you're wrong.........
seems to me that the most "cultish" group is the high flowers. Don't get me wrong, I think there are dipshits on both sides, just when it comes to fanatics, the high flowers seem to have the higher population.
Low flow works just fine for most of my uses, when i have a specific need for high flow, then i'll go high flow. Guys like you just make yourself out to be asses when you put down low flow folks. Think low flow sucks? Fine, maybe it does suck for what you want to accomplish. But there are plenty of situations where low flow works just as good as high flow, so what's the fucking point of this bullshit religious war? How about you enjoy your garden hose/jet noise but supreme OCing setup, and we'll enjoy our neater, quieter, but not as OCing setups, w/o either side having the retarded impulse to talk needless shit.
Christ, some of you guys act like high school girls
Anyhow, interesting that you said its a recent influx. TN's been called out by a few people for her love of flame baiting.
Exactly the kind of comments designed to provoke controversy....completed ruined what was a good post.
i see your point, but it was not meant in a derogatory way. I guess perception is everything. If I ever decided to go high flow, I'd proudly refer to my "garden hose/jet fan" setup, and that was the sprit of those words. Not negative or derogatory in any way, at least in my mind as I wrote them. Unfortunetely, sometimes what I'm feeling or thinking doesn't get conveyed in the post. That's the case here.
i think, ranker, that comment was a generalization about high-flow setups. Generally, they are used with louder fans, pushing more CFM, cooling better, than low flow, which is nearly always quiet fans, low CFM and less cooling.
You guys do know that tube size has nothing to do with noise right? Same with waterblocks.
Just a friendly service reminder.
There's a reason why a bunch of us love Thermochill PA radiators. They can dissipate more heat at a faster rate than other radiators and were built around low CFM fans.
Moving parts generate noise. Waterblocks and tubing don't.

You couldn't be further from the truth IMHO, at least for all the people that I know of anyways. I'd be willing to bet their (and mine) high flow systems are just as quiet (if not quietier) than any of the low flow systems out there.........
godamn i feel like rodney....
can't we...um...can't we all jus' get along??
*sigh* godamn but you people sure know how to distort the fuck outta things sometimes.
NEVER said high flow was ALWAYS "louder", just that when those who are fanatics about high flow AND use their systems for the last nth degree eek out, those folks tend to run thier fans faster in order to eek out that last little bit.

Watch it or some of the Swiftech/D-Tek cult Mafioso types may set you up for a beating.

this pretty much shows you're not really in for reasoned discussion, but just to argue. I never said WB and tubing create noise
Be more original rather than biting off what I labeled as the AC Mafia.

Nice try, but no cigar.
Big pumps make more noise than smaller pumps as the noise comes from the size of the motor and the impeller. BTW, silence is the goal and I can hear a pin drop on the floor.
Hope ya don't mind me cleaning up you grammar.
from your sig...
CPU Loop: Iwaki RD-30 -> Thermochill PA120.2 (Pull: 2 Yate Loon D12SL-12) -> Apogee GTX CPU -> Swiftech mcres-micro reservoir with G1/4" tap
And you think there are many out there that run an RD-30 so you can apply this generalization to all high flow users? Most people I know use DDC-1's, with DDC-2's and D5's being the next most popular pumps.
One thing I forgot to mention. Every time we have one of these kinds of threads the sales of AC components goes right through the roof here in the states and in other English speaking countries. Just wanted to thank you for your support in this endeavor.
I can count two Aquaducts sold based on this thread. Lucky thing a new shipment is in the near future at www.sharkacomputers.com
