Real Alternative doesn't work!

I've had real alternative installed in my system for a very long time, but I've realized that I've yet to encounter any real media until today (I think). I tried playing back a RM file but it refuses to display the video, the audio works but the video doesn't. I tired using a K-lite codec pack which comes with FFDshow, I configure FFDshow and look for the real video in the tabbed list under codecs. I see that real video is disabled, so I enable it but can only choose libvcodec. So now when I play video, I see picture but it's of nothing, just blankness oppposed to before where I got a video feed error and then it played back the audio. What should I do? I don't want to install real player.
 
What version of Real Alternative were you using? Maybe you should try updating to the latest version?
 
I have found the version realplayer that GooglePack installs is mostly invisible. Thats really the goal anyhow, for it to be invisible until you actually need it.
