New Halo 3 beta video

I must reallly be out of touch. I thought the graphics looked fairly good, especially for a beta that's all about testing multiplayer.

[Edit - Though it did look like crap until I set the video to display 100% rather than stretched for my screen... but that's kinda obvious!]
 
it doesn't look a WHOLE lot more better than halo 2. textures are better obviously but other than that, it looks like halo 2 with a different HUD. guess its just me :p dare i say it will look as good as halo 2 on the PC? lol
 
Wow, I like the prospect of automated weapons like those in Perfect Dark. Too bad I suck at Halo . . . Bad . . .
 
To me this looks a lot more like the first Halo. IMO this is VERY good as I thought the second one was a POS compared to the first.

I still would love to have the health back, instead of just a shield but I think most people would disagree with me on this.

Other then that I only like one map they showed. The one with the concrete structures and the turrets on the wall. It was in the desert.
 
Doesnt look as good as i was expecting, but hey, as long as it runs smooth and at high FPS ill be happy!

Remember this is the beta for multiplayer... there's no way that Bungie is letting us see all the shiny right now.

(If I'm wrong when it's released quote this and call me an idiot!)
 
I thought it looked pretty good too. The levels are very similar in design to Halo 1/2, but that isn't a bad thing.
