Should I use AS5 or Ceramique, especailly on the RAM? Unlike the GPU which have a IHS cover, those RAM chips have all their legs exposed....I heard that Ceramique is non-conductive so if I use it instead there will be no risk of shorting out those chips. Am I correct?

AS5 is non-conductive. It is slightly capacitive at high frequencies, (like, RAM) so that's something to consider.

I'd go AS5 on the core and Ceramique on the RAM/RAMDAC simply because ceramique is cheap, and RAM doesn't generate enough heat to really splurge on it.

lol, yes I think as5 on GPU is good, but actually my main concern is to aviod shorting out of those RAM chip :)

AS5 won't short them out... But as I said, ceramique is better for them because they don't produce that much heat.

AS5 on the GPU, and ceramique on the the ram and the other chips. I had originally put AS5 on everything on my GTX block and discovered that not all of the memory chips were making contact with the water block unless the screws were on really tight, making the card bend. So I took it apart again and applied ceramique, which is more thick than AS5. Good contact after that, plus it's non conductive so you don't have to worry about getting it on the board.

I'd probably go with the Cera just because it's non-conductive. Just a personal preference for me. :)

AS5 on everything here. Anyone find out that they didnt have to slather on a ton for thier block to get good coverage on all components? I was leery that I was duplicating the factory's lack of effort with that bulk pack of thermal goop, but temps are great with the water block, so I guess it's good.

I also have AS5 on everything under my EK 8800GTX block. I didn't put much AS5 on the memory, and loosened the screws a bit after I was done since as others said my card was bending. :D

Sorry for the stupid additional question, but how on Earth do you guys check the temps on these cards? I used to go into the nVidia control panel on previous cards, but apparently that info is top secret this time around. I downloaded Riva Tuner 2.01 and managed to turn on the plugins or something to show me the graphs of the Core & Ambient temp, but they seem low @29 idle, @33 load after gaming, unless my triple rad is just kicking ass. What do you guys use, and where exactly? I'm apparently blind in this regard so exact location/steps would be cool.

I use MBM 5 with an Nvidia temp monitor plugin. You can still view the temps, you just have to download and use Nvidia Ntune, which is crap.
