OpenGL/CAD Card: X1900XT/V7300 or 8800GTS ?

Hey,

Just wondering what everyone recommends for 3D CAD / OpenGL (solidworks, ProE, etc) if you have to choose between a:

X1900XT (which can be forced to run as a FireGL V7300)
or
an 8800GTS (which must run as a GTS)


Or hold out and wait for the R600 silliness. (Can spend $350ish)

Really?!? No one knows if the 8800GTS has better openGL performance then the V7300 ? Possible since ATI has had pretty poor openGL but then again GTS is more of a dX card,

Oh, right, openGL is used more for 'work' then games. Ah, thats why there isn't a flame war already.
