Hey guys,

I've been building computers for a few years now and never came across this problem. Right now I have everything hooked up and ready to go. As soon as i boot my machine i get 3 little lights near the top of the board, 1 blue, 1 orange, and 1 green. Not to sure what those mean. Anyways the computer is running but i get no picture of the Bios or anything. Theres a LCD with 2 number digits that say - - meaning no boot?

I tried everything, unplugged everything except the power to the motherboard and still no response.

Could the battery be dead and not allowing normal boot?

Edit: Won't be able to reply till late tomorrow, thanks!

The dreaded "--" post from 680i... search the forum for posts on this.

Other than that, I would try reseating your motherboard, it could be shorting out on the case.

stupid question - are you using a USB keyboard? I put this together fired it up, got power to fans and whatnot but no video. I swapped out the keyboard and it fired right up.

Also - you have the 8 pin connector plugged in correct?
