To those who missed it, There is no sense in buying a video card right now. Due to the lack of competition, prices are HIGH. Wait on ATi to friggin launch something so the prices can settle down a bit.

Except for the fact that it was a deal.

I wouldn't be waiting if I had the $ and needed/wanted a nice performance boost. I don't think there are any solid dates as to when ATI will release their next line of cards.
 
Ha, thought it was still alive until I noticed the price went up $100.
 
I want to thank the OP for posting this because I JUMPED on this deal. I need a vid card now because I'm building a new comp, I was planning on getting that 7900GS for $120AR but this deal was too sweet to pass up.
 
This is just the beginning of 8800 discounts as AMD readies to launch R600. I'm waiting for the 640 MB discounts, or the 2900XT if it's really $399.
 
As of right now, for those interested, the PNY 8800GTS/320 is $260 at Buy.com. Before a $20 rebate (not including a $10 Google Checkout promo). Hell, I'm tempted...though I know Supreme Commander will almost literally look at me and go "You're kidding, right?"
 
Gah! :eek: What the hell are these guys doing? Last night it was back over 300 bones (like 334 or so). Now all of a sudden the deal is pretty much back on. Buy.com is all over the board with this one!

Well, I can only hope it's still on when I get home from work so I can jump on it.
 
It's 10 bucks more now, 244.99 shipped with $20 rebate,why do they do this too me, I need a 640 for the 2407...
 
If anyone got in on this deal and is thinking about getting rid of it PM me, I have a XBox 360 Premium sitting here with Gears of War that my wife won't let me play because of the violence and my little boy watching.

Also, if you get Google Checkout you get a free $10 to slap down on this.
 
This deal is back, but the near $20 in sales tax and $7 to ship it kills it for me. I was going to order it for my neighbor for her new machine, but I think I will look for a store that doesn't charge Sales Tax.

i'm kinda dissappiontd with the 320 GTS... hmm... got this today and intsalled it... it does do a good job.. but not what i expected..

wow.. i ordered on sunday and because my credit card had issues, they are out of stock and my order is now on backorder. they have no estimate when it'll be shipped. ugh.. :mad:
 
i run 1920x1200... the card runs it decenlty.. still deciding if i should get hte 640mb version or the gtx...

just received mine today! was on backorder but shipped out yesterday and came today. gotta love being 25 min away from one of their warehouses!
