Recent Vegas Trip

I was using a Canon 20D with either my 17-40 f/4 or my 70-200 f/2.8 IS.
There was a lot of stuff to see and do. We hit up:

Red Rock
Valley of Fire
Hoover Dam
A ghost town outside of Nelson
And of course the strip.

Very nice stuff. Since I live in Vegas, as far as the Strip goes I see it nearly everyday, but it's awesome to see someone else's perspectives on all the other stuff in the area. I particularly like that shot from behind the tanker using the reflections off the back, very cool stuff. I lived in Death Valley for 5 years also, so some of those road panoramas remind me of the bi-weekly trips into town (Pahrump and Vegas) for shopping, supplies, etc.

Nice photos!! Love the clarity and composition. I have been into Digital Photog for just a short time (1yr +), and have learned so much from people on photographica.org. I really want to upgrade soon to a DSLR, just have $$$ issues. I'll get there soon!!
