Hi
Im having this problem of overheated 7600GT. The PC shuts down after sometime if i play a Graphic extensive Game.
Shall i only get a vga sinker or also the chipset and better fan. I think i don't need any extreme cooling setup. Whats ur suggestion.
 
the temps should show up in your nvidia controll panel . i have the xfx 7600gt with a zalman vf 900 attached . i used as5 for the thermal paste . seems to do a great job . hope that helps . good luck .

u could use ati tool or riva tuner, rive tuner allows u to see the temps while u play yr games.
 
I suspect. it might not be the GPU. It's the processor. Because if the threshold is achieved then the graphic card should inform .I've set the default thresthold setting for GPU i.e 115centigrade.

If its the porcessor then kindly suggest some good cooling solutions.
