I am running the x850xt pe 256mb right now. I use a 22" LCD running 1680x1050 (via DVI connection) and only play WoW. System is a core2duo 6300, 2gb ram, 2x36gb raptors in raid0. What AGP card can I get to let me max the settings in WoW at that res and still run 60fps? I do my other gaming on my 360 on the HDTV. I enjoy WoW however and would like to get the best experience for the least amount of money upgrade here. Didn't know if a newer AGP card had been released that could give me 60fps maxed settings at that res.

Ok, Frys has the x1950 pro. There is a 40 dollar difference between the 512mb and 256mb (both AGP). Which should I get? (you can view both on frys.com)

Best AGP you can buy is the X1950 XT.

But X1950 Pro is easier to find although a bit slower.

I run WoW fine on my old computer's 9800 Pro though, the game isn't very hardware intensive at all. The Pro destroys my 9800 so you'll have a more than okay gaming experience.

sure a 9800 pro is fine in the little baby 5-man dungeons you are running, but wait till you do a 25-man like serpentshrine where 25 players are in a full water zone. you will not get even 20fps with the settings at max.
