need excel help please

I cant seem to figure out how to make my excel charts the way the instructor wants them to be for my excel project. for some odd reason my new charts come out horizontally now... how do I fix this? Total noob questions....

can someone help me out here?

The second graph is using a Bar chart. You need to change it to a Column chart.

I'm not sure what version of Office you are running, but try to right click on the middle of the chart, and choose Change Chart Type. Then select Column chart.
 
i fixed that one... what about the # increments? How do i get it to be just "50.00" not 50.000000 ???

Right-click on the y-axis (percentages) on the chart. Choose Format Axis > Number. Select Percentage with 2 decimals. There should also be a section called Axis Options that will allow you to change the min, max, major & minor units so that you can match the scale of the example chart.
