Ew.

Think they'd let me change the color if I contacted them?

It happened to me a few weeks ago when this same deal was on. They just got sold out and backordered. They shipped as soon as they got more in stock.

How would these fans compare vs. the stock fans (tri-speed on medium currently) from my Antec P180B case?

Your stock fans are good fans, I wouldn't bother replacing them.

I want to replace the fans in my Wavemaster (Tornados?) but I haven't found a good replacement that will move the same amount or about the same amount of air but quieter. I was looking possibly for an 80mm version of the Yate Loons but haven't seen one. Should I just go with the Panaflo instead?

awesome deal. with the coupon code i my order for four fans (six really) was a about $21.

depends on how anal you are about sound

your fans are pretty quiet for being stock fans, at low level they are almost inaudible from 1m away

here's a review that compares both of them (the nexus fan is made by yate loon, but i think the yate loon fan being sold is a tad bit more noisey than a nexus fan)

I have the P180 w/ the tri-cool fans and I just ordered some Yate Loons. The tri-cools move a lot more air than the yate loons, although they're a bit louder. I also bought some soft mounts and put a yate loon at the front of the case behind the upper hard drive storage area.

damn i'm not sure if i wanna do this... been running my 152cfm deltas (2 of em) on 5v (minimum fans can go) on my bix2 rad cuz they're normally too loud... but i like to have the ability to increase during benching... though, i do want supersilent so i can sleep better! =/ still debating but great deal!!! 47cfm 28dba is great.

OT - what kind of dbs are getting with those Delta's at 5v? I was thinking about trying something similar but wasn't sure if I could tame the noise

I got in on this deal and ordered 2 fans (3 actually) last Friday morning. As of today they still haven't shipped. Has anyone who ordered recently had theirs shipped or are they just being slow with my order? Thanks

I sent them an email just a little while ago, as I don't think mine had shipped yet either. (Also ordered early friday)

When they have this deal, they quickly sell out and go into backorder. Never fear--they will ship eventually. This exact same thing happened to me about a month ago--I ordered 2(3), nothing happened for about a week, I emailed them, and they emailed back and told me about the backorder. And the next day, the fans arrived on my doorstep.

just got the stuff today. very nicely packaged. great communication. these guys rock imo

The shipping / tracking area for my order wasn't populated so I sent an email as well. I received a response saying they have shipped with USPS.

...I ordered last Friday as well

I haven't received an email back yet, sent one two days ago... Oh well hopefully they will arrive sometime

I also sent an email regarding shipping status yesterday and haven't gotten a response. Sure hope they are just busy shipping out orders. Thanks for the updates everyone.

well my great communication thing was from the first moments the deal was announced lol, im sure they got real busy after that

Little update here, My order never showed that it shipped or anything, but my fans arrived two days ago :)

I got my fans friday, woohoo!! My order never said shipped, but I still received them. Thanks OP for putting up this deal.

These fans cost about .65+ cents each in bulk for any PC dealer, 80mm about .45 cents, etc.

If you know anyone that has a PC shop or business, and no I do not mean a hobbyist that uses newegg to build his PC, :p

They will have a vendor price list, usually accessible via secured web site, password / login and sometimes it's mailed to them a few times a month and will be marked confidential dealers pricing.

Get them to show you this, your jaw will drop.

I have to say - the stock TriCool's I got with my P180B are LOUD. I have to keep them on the lowest setting (5v? - they've got integrated control on another wire with L-M-H), and the Yate Loons move more air then at Low. They're a little too loud at Medium, and they're much much louder at High. The Yate Loons (stock - 12v?) move much more air than the Tricools at L, a little more at M, and a little less than at H. But they're LOUDER (Oops - CapsLock? Naw) at even Medium, let alone High.

I've got one TriCool left in the P180B; it's the top exhaust with the spoiler. The way the fan slides under clips restricts my one other Yate Loon (oh, and I chose orange fan on black) to align with the screw holes.

Good stuff.

Got mine in about a week, haven't used any yet. Waiting to finish the case mod in progress.

80mm LED fan grill is garbage. I knew it wouldn't be great but this isn't even designed well. There is no practical way to mount it with the LED in it unless you superglue it in.

Can't really complain though, because it was free and I may find a use for the LED by itself.

All in all quite pleased
