Seagate 320GB TD Bundle $65

You get the junk software with it. Not to mention you often get screwed out of that $105 rebate.

Like TD will "forget" to send it? TD will say it is null and void? TD says it was an information error?

(I have had about 5 rebates with them. All took the 2-3 months, but I recieved them.)

and if you look at any price comparison sites, TD loves to spoof their reviews...

Try pricegrabber once, tons of short little positive statements about TD everyday from users that registered that day and only review TD....hrm, a bit fishy

Those are FWers. They post the reviews to get the $5 rebate on the product pages. :p

I've never had problems with rebates on items purchased through TD either.

Wow, just right now I got an email from TD saying they will be mailing me my rebates that I sent in mid-January. Speak of the...

That's a pretty good final price, but it's a massive rebate. I personally don't like to go > 50% of the price for rebates any more, but if you don't mind the risk, it's a good price. Tax might hurt some people though.

TD used to be awful with rebates a few years ago, but from what I hear have tried to clean up their image quite a bit. There's still a load of people who got burned by them back them though, who won't ever trust them again. (TD didn't pay out on one of mine a couple of years ago, but I think I was late submitting it, and it was only $20 so didn't bother following up.)

I have recieved all my TD rebates, and in a timely matter.

Just my 2 cents.

good to know. maybe i'll just wait for a non rebate offer. i've seen a 320 for $79 no rebates at fry's. i have over $350 in rebates waiting.

from either of the 2 rebates from OnRebate.com ($25 and $60) out of the 3 that are part of this price. (-$20 -$25 -$60)

highlighted is the reason for them to deny you $85 of the rebate.

$150 for a $95HDD is not a good deal.

Exactly the sort of thing they would do as well...TD is just a bunch of shady characters. My company worked with them a bit and they were just scumbags....

the after rebate cost is good but all these dumb mir's are dealbreakers for me.

letting a company borrow $105 of my cash so they can earn interest on it or whatever they do is not a deal to me. i'm sick of all these companies letting us have these "deals"
