............ Paypal and ebay has your back, so you have nothing to lose.
wtf does used only when tested mean? that he felt the need to test every processor? smells fishy to me
i would do it if i could still get the 3year warranty. this isnt possile right? =\
^USED ONLY WHEN TESTED
Idk.. I really want one.. I'm trying to hold back the desire.. lol.
AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HUR HUR HUR
*wipes tears of laughter away*
Oh man my sides hurt from that one
"Used only when tested" probably means "I bought a batch of these, and now I'm dumping the ones that won't overclock past 2800 MHz".
Buyer beware.
I'm getting an e6400.. if it won't go past 2800mhz.. that's fine by meh
Well I ordered one, because he replaces them (atleast from feedback) if they're deemed doa. So we shall see. The warranty is 30 days.. but obviously.. that's plenty of time to test.
It's pointless if he doesn't really respond to his customers according to his feedback.
I got my chip today. I'm waiting on a psu and ram, which I should receive tomorrow. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
The chip looks clean, anyhow.
Personally, I'm the type of person who likes to know the history of expensive hardware. Yes, $200+ is expensive to me. I don't like to gamble too much either.
I also recieved my CPU (E6600), but it was defective. I called the number as stated in the auction and talked to Beto. He sounded real professional and told me to send it back so he can test it. If it fails on his end, he will send me out a replacement asap. Kinda sucks that I have to wait a bit longer now, but at least they are attempting to make it right.
what's the date/batch of the cpu's you guys are getting?
My e6400 is running fine and that's what I'm on right now. I'm surprised, I have to admit I was kind of expecting it to not work. Got it up just in time to go lanning tonight.. probably play with it tomorrow and see what I can push it to.
It's pointless if he doesn't really respond to his customers according to his feedback.
thusfar I have the e6400 @ 2.8, without any voltage adjustments. not going to bother upping it in small increments. I tried to set it at 1500 fsb (3.0) without any voltage increments, and it wouldn't boot. So I'll be happy at 2.8.. probably not going to up the voltage any and see how far it can go.
