Favorite video game ending?

Grand Theft Auto 3/Vice City/San Andreas/Liberty City Stories/Vice City Stories...basically all the Grand Theft Auto Titles after Grand Theft Auto 3. :p

You hit the nail on the head there m8, for the first time I didnt feel displeased seeing that ending, made me wanna play again for the next one.

I also like star ocean 2 endings, because theres so many lol

Bg1 and 2 ending was good, Throne of bhaal ended things nicely too
 
This one will only be familiar to the old school Sega fans...

Dragon Force- Saturn, the most awesome animated mini-movie at the end that made the game worth playing through multiple times to see.:cool:
 
MGS 3 Snake Eater by far, the best. The last fight was beautiful.

Best story ending, and they did it perfect.

Followed by FFX cuz it was so sad.
 
I am surprised no one has stated Star Control 2. IMO the best and one of the funniest.
 
Mafia by far has the best ending i have ever seen.

Althought, the ending to C&C and RA1 were both greats. That was way back before the live action became all campy and comical. I spent so many hours on thouse games only to see Kane get fried.
 
Metroid Prime.

Metal Ripley + Metroid Prime fights are very cool

Halo Legendary Ending was disapointing
 
Super Metroid.

anyone who thinks the silent hill 2 dog ending is good has a warped sense of humor.

The best ending to anything ever, was the ending to Blakes 7.

Alright let's put this thread to rest, theres no debate here.
BEST STORY OF ALL TIME:

QUAKE!

The charachter development of the main charachter [unoffically known as "the quake-guy"] was second to none.

The dialog between other oposing charachters (which tend to go along the lines of "Arrrrrgh!") was most engrossing.

The chapter endings which consisted of a 'paragraph' made you actually forget for a second that you were playing a videogame.

And the final ending which consisted of.. um... oh wait I uh, dont remember.

Final Fantasy 2 and up

Not just the ending, but the entire storyline of the first KOTOR is perhaps at the top of my list (a very long list), with the very best 'hinted-at and completely missed' plot twist that dropped jaws all around the globe.

While rpg elements of the sequel improved, the storyline was overattempted suckage.

Im struggling to remember any endings...but people mentioning kotor has brought back a few memories

I also did the dark side ending, and it was sad. I genuinely felt bad doing all that evil crap to everyone in my party
 
Metal Gear Solid 3

MGS2 had a wacked up story that didn't make too much sense once you try putting it together but they redeemed themselves in the 3rd.
 
these are some good endings: Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid, God of War.

I personally hated the GTA 3 ending:mad: :mad:
 
Favorite ending? Definately Sim City Classic...

...that or Chrono Trigger :)

I seem to remember enjoying the endings to Myst and Zork:Nemesis too...but that was a long time ago.
