Bit-tech will have an Abit IN9 32X-MAX review soon...

yeah - I looked for it today.. still nothing.. but I'm eager to see what they say. :D

I am sure it will be a few days until the review appears, but I know there are some people
waiting for the review of this motherboard.

I want to see the IN9 based on the 650i chipset (even if it is Fatality branded :p ).

Anandtech are suposed to have the Gigabyte 680i preview up tomorrow - sounds like it's got a better BIOS at the moment than the IN9 32X.

Oh hellz yes! What was that board's name? Is it on Gigabyte's site yet?

Gigabyte GA-N680SLI-DQ6, and the article.

I wonder if it is any good. . . . Might decide to get this over the eVGA 680i, but not sure.
I might also get the Abit instead, of these reviews turn out well for it.

NeoSeeker, though I do not know much about that site, has a review of the Gigabyte GA-N680SLI-DQ6.

And Anandtech should be reviewing it soon.

HAH! Some of those features are laughable. "Quad-Triple Phase" power?! 12 "VIRTUAL" phase channels? So if they are virtual, they are fake? Huh? Intangible?

Quad Bios? Wha?

if you look on the mobo, it has 12 pwm "modules" around the cpu, so I am betting that's goign to be a good board for quad core cpus. anyways.. I really with they'd gone with more USB ports vs more LAN ports on the n680sli, but all in all, looks nice a pretty kick ass board.

They are but I don't think that they were testing with any of the betas (noticed 1 guy has hit 525fsb :) ).
They did mention that abit were working on the BIOS though.

That was a good read. I am just happy to finally read a review on this board. I am very happy
with the gaming performance and I am optimistic about its overclocking ability.

That does look like a nice board. If I were looking for a 680i board, I'd definitely give that one a good look.

LOL! That review is a JOKE! It looks like a 12 year old wrote it.

Plus, he tested it using an extremely low end video card. WOW!

He used some 8800 cards with it to make sure they work fine with the motherboard. But he did
not post benchmarks using those cards.

They have only been around for two years, it will be a while before they have stuff like that worked out. :D At least they havn't been tainted by BIAS or bribes from the manufacturers/suppliers. :p

If they were aware of it why did they not make any specific mention of the issue rather than making the IN9 out to be a dud when it came to FSB overclocking?

Here the abit board showed some weakness.I got the board to 440FSB x 6 100% stable. However for some reason the board just would not boot past the welcome screen at 1Mhz past this speed. This was slightly disappointing, especially as I felt this board could do more. After a long afternoon and evening trying various hardware configurations, BIOS settings etc I gave up but I really think the board can do more...

A mixed bag of overclocking, but there is certainly a lot of potential.

Seems to me from those statements that they had absolutely no idea about the FSB holes

they are & I know that they are aware of the betas too.
last I heard they were waiting for someone at abit to come back to them.
