Looks like samurize for some of it but could be another program that does the same thing. The launch bar can be duplicated with Rocketdock for free and just make your own .ico or .png files with the words and use them instead of picture icons. The poster might also be using programs that work like that when you install instead of having to play around with them to make it your own.

Google talk with a skin for the IM program? +mirc on the top left
 
Well, I just posted this in the other desktop thread, not realizing that there was a separate thread for clean desktops. I hope I don't get shot for posting it in two threads!

I've had this type of setup for quite a while now, and it works good. It's amazing Vista's search engine so I don't need more shortcuts and a taskbar manager ;)

This has been my desktop for the last two months or so.

Still holding off vista, right now there are more customizing options with xp (or in my case, xp64)... that, and without a DX10 card, there isn't a compelling reason for me to upgrade.

Yeah at first it was weird paying for Anti Virus, but nod32's quality really outshines the others. Also, it is perfect for a minimalist like myself...

Nope :)

I read large PDF readings from my international studies course on it though. Makes the text nice and big.

I have a 2007wfp so all i need to do is swing it back -90 degrees to play games. When I get a more sturdier desk i'll be play games on my 22in Mitsubishi 2070sb :)

I am a CRT holdout typing right now on a compaq p1220, a rebrand of a mitsu monitor in the same range as yours.

Hahah, i'm on a compaq p1210, its a great monitor, i bought it for 100$ this last summer. Beats any LCD at that price!
