Post Pictures of your Console Setups! All Generations

Here's a bad picture (and it's dated as my PS3's now being shipped back to repair the HDMI port), but it's more or less my setup.
Of note, the Wii's a prefect fit to sit on top of the 360 if you have them both. It doesn't obscure any vents and the rubber feet on it keep it perfectly in place.

Nice setup! (BTW- is that a kitty-litter box?)

On another note, what happened to the HDMI port on your PS3?

EDIT: You maaay want to switch the PS3 and the Wii. As all that equipment on the right of the PS3 is going to block the hot air exhaust.

It's actually a cat scratching "box" it's made of ridged cardboard and the cats love it to death. Keeps 'em distracted from going after all of the wires you can't see back there!
My HDMI port just "died" yesterday. It just stopped outputting video randomly, only an hour after working fine. I tried playing with all the settings and nothing worked. My receiver only does HDMI pass-through, so I figured I'd try running the audio as a test and it gave me an "HDMI connection error." I tried my other 2 spare cables and they did the same thing. However the composites packed with the system work fine. I called Sony and I guess it's really rare, but has happened to other people. Oddly enough my PS3 was also dumping a LOT of warm air out the back, too. It was 2X as hot as the 360...so maybe it was busted all along?
(Edit: seeing your post, I did try moving it around - I actually swapped it's sport with my DirecTV box...which is where I'll put it when the replacement comes in)
Anyway, long story short, they're sending me a box to ship it back and as soon as they get mine, they'll ship me a new one. It supposedly only has a 10 day turn around, so it's not too bad. Hopefully Tekken won't be out during those 10 days!

Note: I changed the thread title to include the Wii, as someone mentioned it a page ago, and it's a good idea.:)

My xbox is hooked next to my pc until i get my media sharing worked out but this is its normal home :)

sorry its a little dusty hehe. The chairs are awesome and recline back when u push the button on the handle!
Speakers are mounted in the ceilings and walls totally hidden 3 in front, 3 in the middle, 3 behind, and a sub woofer built into the wall next tto the tv u can see
the tv is a 60" LG plasma we bought abotu 1.5 years ago not sure the exact model on it anymore (i could find out by takin it off the wall mount but dont care too much at this point)

Wow...that's pretty amazing. How well do the speakers in the ceiling work? Does the positioning still really come through?
Also, just curious...what's your take on 7.1 surround (since you have it)?
Sometimes I can only barely notice the extra channels in 5.1. Is everything in 7.1 utilized really well or do you find some of the speakers not really getting much activity?

I'm sure that's a lot of fun standing up in the middle of the room swinging the wiimote all over the place with that huge picture in front of you. :)

Yeah. Split screen multiplayer games are heaps more fun on the wall and on a TV IMO.

Here is my updated setup... specs are in sig... you can't see any of my components because they're all out of sight :)

Here is my 360 dorm setup.

Are rooms are pretty small so we use lofts to give us more room. Got 2 futon mattress pads down there, a nice 20in TV and part of a Logitech Z640 setup. Reason I dont have to 2 rear speakers is because the speakers dont have a built in decoder for 5.1. Main reason I even put up those speakers is because of the sub. The sub adds a nice effect to the games. Its actually a really comfortable gaming spot.

Heres my setup. I just recently got a cheap vesa bracket for my 21" Samsung LCD from monoprice.com.

PSWii60 Club!
Plus DS Lite, White PSP, and DOA Kasumi-Chan LE XBOX.

The desk is an Ikea Jerker which is getting a bit small now. I also have a 4 port USB switch so I can switch my keyboard and mouse from my PC to my X360 of PS3.

Do you go to Purdue University? I swear that's a Purdue dorm room if I've ever seen one (and I have seeing how I went there). Just curious.

LOL....I think most school dorms look like that.
I know that the vast majority of the SEC schools do at least.

Cleanest desk i have ever seen. My only gripe is that you are actually playing DOA Volleyball

LOL said but true. I played the first one liked it and even got my sister playing it. I have the second one but it really doesn't add much and the physics are too xtreme. Plus you can't do multiplayer on one box which totally sux.

Damn good eyes, yes I go to Purdue. Freshman year in CIT.

Yeah that what I was thinking but he was right.

How are you mounting your monitor vertically like that?

I'd love to do the same thing with my 27" so I can play shooters in TATE mode.

Wow blauman those mounts are so cheap compared to bestbuys prices i was getting ready to buy lol.

did u just a cut a square hole in it? or is there plexi-glass inside of it? either way nice mod.

Yeah that what I was thinking but he was right.

There are a few things that I noticed like: the removable head/end bed frames, the bulletin board location, the desk, and also the annoying corner that's not quite a true corner. Really, the bed frames are a dead give away. :D

Clean setup, that's probably the neatest cable management I have seen with an Ikea Jerker.Curious how you did it, looking to overhaul my cables to exact lengths

Good call on the USB hub :)

cable management actually isn't that good yet. Its a work in progress. Its look good because the Westinghouse covers up all the wires coming down from the top.
