All i have to say is "WOW". Seriously, the 45nm processors seem almost revolutionary, that K8L better kick serious ass, because I get the feeling that the Penryn processors will beat Conroe like a red-headed stepchild. The new tech is amazing!

And, as sad as i am to admit it, history does show that then Intel or AMD unveil *this* much info about a product so far ahead of launch, it kicks serious, serious ass. Anyone remember the endless buzz about the Athlon 64 and Conroe?
 
What do you speculate the price will be initially? (compare to when core2 & its various models first came out)
 
I hope its cheaper because it is 45 nm as opposed to 65 nm. I have no idea though.
 
I am excited.... I own a Core 2 Duo E6600 right now, and will probly upgrade my system when These come out into main stream....
 
Earlier today Intel revealed its 22nm node, dubbed 1270, slated for first production in 2011.

Most modern doom sayers think the world will end 2012...guess we know how the Terminator Wars start:p

I like that we should see some of the tech in Core 2 Extremes by the end of the year, mentioned this on one of the news channels monday.
