This is what my friend asks me at 2AM last night. The first thing out of my mouth, of course, with no budget, is "680Ii 680i!!!" but, he said "Thats Grade AA, im looking for something thats more Grade A". I suspect thats because he already checked on (my) EVGA 680i board, and found that they're expensive over there, and because the Asus Striker, the Asus Flagship board, bears Flaghship prices, even in Hong Kong. So now im off to find a board thats "Grade A", but still with no budget. So then I recomended three boards: The Giga-byte DS3, the Asus Commando, and the Asus P5N-E SLI, the Asus board based on the 650i chipset.

Basically im looking for a huge performer thats not 680i or ICFX 3200.

But is there anything else i should look into? What do you guys think? Hes got an AGP graphics card but, apparently he plans to pick up something new while hes over there too. Guess hes gonna look into that later right now its mobos! I need to know tonight (by 2 am :p)

maybe the P5B-deluxe for around US$195?

prices are only slightly more expensive for most things in HK compared with the States but probably cheaper than anywhere else.
