Nevermind, the pictures came up. I hope you are the webmaster of that site, otherwise i'd be pissed if someone would hot link my pics on some forum.

Vcore = 1.4050 --- Vdroops to 1.008; is this normal?

Nice NB and SB coolers.

Is that 3DMark06 score good, considering you've got 2 overclocked 8800 gtx's in there?

M

Also, is that an Ntune screen; I though you could'nt save 8800 overclock settings???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in Ntune.

No, it's CPU-Z reporting it incorrectly... thats why he put up the Abit utility number.

1.4volts and a 500Mhz FSB.... nice...

I'm all for modding, but I dont think I want to deal with three Mobo HSF installations... ugggh heatpipes

Is this board finally out now? If so where can you get it and does anyone know of any reviews of it? I'm extremely interested in this board.

Man, I plan on getting this as soon as I can, but I need to know what the spacing is on the mounting holes for the heatpipe assembly. I am going to run it upside down (Lian-Li 2000) and plan on putting some aftermarket hsf's on. Can anyone who actually has this or gets it soon check this out?

Shawn

yeah - this is going to be the board for me.. that alternate NB cooler looks awesome. yay for that... whew.

I think the pics are from coolater... looks like it. :)

Better 3dmark score w/ lower FSB but 9x vs 500 @ 7x?

Did something else change here or is that good / bad?

Holy crap looks like abit finally learned how to design a good layout. One of the best boards I have ever seen. I like how all the connectors are on the side. Since no one probably going to connect a floppy, it doesnt matter if its on the bottom. Looking good. Can this be the board for abit to redeem themselves?

really nice board, i wonder what is the price of this thing.

i hope it will be around evga mobo but the features make me think it will be more like striker price.

Is it me or is that CPU socket awfully close to the edge of the board (much like the eVGA/BFG 680i)?

That can cause problems with large heatsinks and limit your orientation options if the case or the PSU comes right up to the edge of the board.

I'm also curious where the reviews for this motherboard are? Usually reviews are already out before the boards go on sale. Looks like this one is for sale now in the UK already.

readily available in the UK so I presume the rest of Europe too - the US seems behind on this (but you have AB9 QuadGTs & we haven't got them yet) although I don't think that you will have to wait too long.
pricing is similar to the Asus Striker but includes 1 of abit's new x1 PCI-E Wi-Fi card in the bundle.
I'm hoping for a lower version without the Wi-Fi card etc. but cheaper (similar to AW9D & AW9D-MAX).

Well hopefully we'll see something soon, in the process of building a new rig, and would definitely like to use the 680i chipset, but of course I am concerned with the instability issues I see reported on the Asus and reference boards so far.

Assuming this gets good reviews, I may go for this one. How is Abit as far as customer serivce and tech support (BIOS updates, etc). are concerned? Personally I've never used them before and haven't heard a whole lot about 'em.

I understand the decision to put the 1394 hearders on the board instead of having a dedicated port. I hope that a Tuniq is able to be rotated 90 degrees as how it is in the pic, for I have a Lian-Li PC-V1100.

sekzy side mount SATA ports.

Abit is creative with some of their ideas, if they can just get back to the top of the overclocking game like they used to be.

better than the striker.. ;) remember, Nvidia is selling their new chipset chips at a price about twice as high as any other on the market... so the parts going into these are making the price higher... it's not outright gouging. That's why the "generic" boards are $250 and more... heck the BFG 680i is 329 @ compoooosa.

The layout looks really great, because when i think of Abit motherboards, they usually have the worse layout, with random wires going across the board.

But, it looks pretty good.

OOS at Nuetronusa... I guess some peeps bit! (whoops, dbl post)

Price shows $371 now too. I guess they figured they could gouge more since they sold out of everything.

Early reports indicate a pretty good OC potential. Seen 500 FSB and 495 FSB reports.

Maybe I should have bit, but would like to see some more reviews on it first before making the plunge.

god.. I was about to bite, but my car just cost me $1800... I took it in for an oil change and to have a vibration in the front end looked at.. wow. they cleaned my veritable clock.. I was so pissed yesterday I could barely post.. lol. freakin M3.. I need to sell it and lease a new, something german, maybe Jetta or something.. with warranty! anyways.. I am so over going fast in my car... I want my computer to go fast now. it's much safer and you don't get tickets for speeding. ;) my wife offered to buy the IN9 for me when it's back in stock.. damn, I love that woman. :)

I cant believe also there is no SLI ! Why the hell would I pay that price with no SLI ??

Looks like this may be the board to start my DX10 build with. I really do want to pull the trigger on this one but I'll just keep waiting. My patience is gonna be the end of me lol.

Well, Abit needs to update their website because nowhere in this boards specs is SLI mentioned.

Please go back to the website, it has the big Nvidia SLI ready logo on the right on the main page. But yes, of course it is the 680i chipset, so it is true x16 SLI.
