I have both the x86 and x64 versions of vista right now, I have wanted to upgrade for awhile but I also wanted to wait for drivers to at least make it run decent. It seems like all of my components have drivers for the RTM version of vista except for the nforce4 SLI. Does anyone have a link or expererience with drivers (please link or specify driver names)

Vista doesn't support SLI at the moment and probably wont for sometime. I'm running Vista Ultimate with a nforce Sli board and everything works fine. I haven't tried gaming yet though.

I'm not running SLI so that is fine, I basically just need drivers so I can get my stuff working, my other hardware is listed below

Aren't the inf's for all older chipsets like nf4 already built into the Vista? I know the 975 and even 965 are because I've run Vista on them.

Yulp, the only driver I'm missing is my sound card but Creative doesnt/wont have a 64 bit diver for Vista. I'm stuck with my onboard sound for now.

Hmm?, My Audigy 2zs works fine with creative's vista x64. The driver that i'm using is the same one for your Live 24bit.

RTM does not need them. The drivers are built in. There are betas for Vista in nVidia's beta section but they are for RC1.

I'm quite aware of that. My point was...the drivers he was asking about do not exist yet.

I meant to quote the OP, I selected yours by accident and didn't bother to check before submitting.

But since you mentioned it, I think if there were going to be nForce 4 SLI drivers for Vista we would have seen them already at least in another beta after the RC1 release. The in the box drivers are probably it for the nForce 4 and previous models when running Vista.

I dont know about that. MS and Nvidia would be leaving a huge user base out in the cold without some driver support. I think we will see them but probably not anytime soon.

Vista 32bit up and running on my Asus A8N-Sli deluxe. Just used all the drivers from the Vista disc and and Windows Update. It's nice how the Nforce4 drivers are basically included. Props to Nvidia and M$ on that.

Only had to download my graphics and soundcard driver. All is well.

Sucks on the SLI though.
