Yep, the 360 pad is definitely what you want. Any game marked Games for Windows is certified to work with it (along with many other requirements), and even games that don't have that should work fine. I've yet to find a game that won't work with it. Also, you can use the XBCD drivers, which give you more options for remapping buttons and such.
Never felt a controller more comfy with a natural feel more than the N64 controller.
Of course I dont know if you can get a PC version :/
Does the xbox 360 controller have rumble effect on pc games?
I wonder why it doesn't work with the default drivers. I tried the controller in Vista when I first purchased it and found that rumble effects only worked in Splinter Cell Double Agent and one other that I can't remember the name of. I don't get any effects using XP so I'll try the XBCD drivers. I didn't think to look for the Redcl0ud drivers because MS provided them already. I used to use those drivers for my hacked XBOX controller.Using the third party XBCD drivers, yes. These drivers are far superior to the MS ones anyway.

Yeah, it pretty much does suck. It's more like a floating disc than an actual directional pad...kinda inaccurate at times.I hear the Xbox 360 D pad sucks. Is this true? I'd like to play some old emulated fighting games and need a good D pad.
original nes + snes controllers converted to usb
On the eighth day, there was SNES. Amen.
I'll believe the Dell part, I love my Dell monitor. And apparently Dell and Saitek as well
