got a E6300 that i just ordered, and around $125 left over after other parts to go towards mobo.

have heard decent things about the foxconn p965 board ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813186102 )

then also i know the DS3 is a mobo of choice, but a little out of my range, so was thinking that http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128017 might be a decent choice.

Anyone have any experience with overclocking on either of these 2, and how stable they are? Would like to go with the foxconn so i have a little $ left over to replace a case fan or 2, or maybe some other board in that price range better than both.

I was thinking about this Asus. Link to Newegg

I already have 2GB of G.Skill DDR2-800 on the way. Link to Newegg

I doubt I'll have enough in the budget to go with a P5B Deluxe or DS3, so I'm in a similar situation. CPU decision hasn't been finalized yet, tho.

Good luck!

I'm using a Gigabyte S3 (see sig) and I'm happy with it so far. Has all the tweaking options and seems pretty stable. I am watercooling mine, but I've heard the northbridge cooler can run kinda hot.

the new asus p5n-e-sli is running around $129 and so far looks to overclock well . it could be worth a shot for the $$$ and there is allways the gigabyte ds-3.
