Is that a noose???
Yea, it is.
Shhh... don't let the college know. ^_^

(For days when being a physics major is just too much pain to tolerate)

Standoff fan? Me too. I'd have Ron Livingston's babies if I were a woman.

I graduated in May, so I'm officially disqualified. Although, here's what I had during senior year in my off-campus house.

Yes, if you squint, that's FFVII. I have an LG L1920P now. No more of that dinky 15".

looks like you were planning some valentine's day special in the back room ;)
That's actually the kitchen. I had three roommates, two of which are gay. One of them always threw a party for special occasions and such. Free booze, though they were usually half proof unless we bought them in the next town over. I say 'we' because I had to drive him.

Thats my little corner of hell in my 12X12 cell. I cant wait to get out of the dorms next year.

^^ Getting out of the dorms is awesome. I loved the dorms for the 2 years I was in them...but having my own place (apartment w/ 3 other guys, granted) is super nice.

Here is what I play with all day long:

some of the setups look real nice.

I'm chillin after finals. Here are some pics of the room.

Best feature: Private bath/single. All the rooms are like this here. Crazy.

fridge and grill beside the toilet??

i nominate that for "best idea of 2006."

just stick in a media pc and/or tv and youd have the best bathroom id have ever seen.

bravo.

that room looks incredibly cramped, looks comparable to living in a closet. Once you start putting your fridge and grill in the bathroom, you know you have space issues.

I'm just staying here for a couple of years while my mansion is being rebuilt.

Oh YES pictures attached ...

And here's where I keep my mistresses

Yeah it sucks because they keep nagging me about rebuilding the moat. :D

I posted this in the 2007 workspace thread, but it's also my room at university, so here's my little corner of magic;

All of the machines in my sig are there somewhere. I'm gonna be taking some better photos of particular stuff sometime later.

Finally moved in to my dorm, now I can post here (I'm a spring admit). I think I lucked out, my room is a pretty big double compared to the other doubles in the building, and all the doubles in this building are pretty big compared to the doubles (triples even) of the other buildings. On top of that, I might not even get a roommate. Anyway

good place to party...and sry its kinda dark!

Berkeley, yes :) but I'll let you keep guessing on where in Berkeley.

My floormates seem to like it :D

Hmm... floormates... you must be in one of the new dorms @ unit 1 or unit 2. Lucky! i was in foothill hillside in '01, when i was a freshman.

Have to disagree, especially for those who don't want to read such things (myself being one of them).

~Thanks

Oh, hehe. It brings me back old memories from lans when people looked at eachothers screens and they yelled back "HEY DON'T LOOK AT MY SCREEN!".

Those few bad words there could be skipped, just for you. Sorry. :)

That's why I like big screen, even with so many icons, it is still not half full :p . The wheel feels real, it only lacks the G-Force so no adrenaline rush like a real car :D .

you can't seriously spend any serious amounts of time in front of that behemoth can you? I applaud the TV, but at that distance your eyes will go quick.

*recommended viewing distance from ANY tv is at least 1.5x the diagonal screen size*

you are probably sitting about 4 feet too CLOSE to that screen. Well enjoy it while your eyes last :D

That recommendation is, as you correctly put it, for any tv. Does anybody honestly use that for computer monitors? That would equate to 3' away from a 24" monitor, and a full 3' 9" away from a 30" monitor.

not to interfear in that discussion but the westy is a TV that has DVI.... (guessing from what I've seen)
---

Are those westy's cheap or why is alot of people having them? 1366x768 is not that fun resolution..

If that Westy is the LVM-37W3 37", then it has a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Alright, that's abit better than those 32" with 1366x768 or whatever they have...

I guess they have good prices since alot of people have them?

I got the LTV-32w6 for 800$, so yea it's pretty decent prices for the size and quality. The only issue i've really had with mine is the backlight bleeds a little when it's full black, but that doesn't matter much.

Nice going SysteX

Spent the morning off rebuilding my rack. Much less clutter now. Totally cleaned room and erased all clutter.

Looks as musical equipment to me. :)

Alright, that's the 32" one or the 37"? Sounds like a good deal too me.... LCD in the "lower" price range has that problem, I can live with it, just can't afford one!
Saving up for a new digital camera instead.

palako. . erased the clutter?? I see about 2 POUNDS of wires bundled behind your HTPC. Good intentions though ;)
